@chuckey1 I realize that in your world, PROFANITY and VULGARITY are common place. However, we are Mormons and as such we try and keep EVERYTHING we do family oriented. In fact, we worship a God who says, "suffer the children to come unto me for such is the kingdom of heaven"
Refrain from PROFANITY or VULGARITY when doing ANYTHING associated with Mormons.
Although he "thought about it" for a couple of days, Lartey had truly made up his mind years before.
"Growing up, my parents never asked me, 'Are you going on a mission?'" he said, "Because I always knew, and they always knew that's what I was going to do."
When Lartey called back with his final decision, he said the coach wished him good luck in life.
This is the dispensation of the fulness of times. When did it begin? At the First Vision? At the organization of the Church? One clue to answering this question was provided by the Prophet Joseph Smith, who taught that the sealing power of Elijah has been given in every true dispensation of the gospel (D&C 128:9), and that it "is necessary in the ushering in of the dispensation of the fulness of times, which is now beginning to usher in." (D&C 128:18.)
"I'll admit that I've come to realize the demands of motherhood, the sacrifices, the exhaustion, and so much more... but, even after the longest night or the most exhausting day, I have NEVER once wanted to go back to what life was before bringing Ben home... We don't have any desire to go back to the way things were before him." Check out this beautiful essay on motherhood.
Motherhood musings: "I bet now you're wondering why you wanted kids so bad, and wishing you could go back to how things were before." This offhand comment took this blogger by surprise and so she dedicated a post explaining that after years of infertility followed by the tragedy of losing twins,
I love you, and I know that our Heavenly Father loves all of us, so He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as our Redeemer. President Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet, who leads us in the right way
Our home was open to the members anytime they wanted to visit. The boys visited our home almost every weekend and even on some weekdays. We fed them and taught them. We taught them the principles of the gospel as well as the application of the gospel in their lives. We tried to give them a vision of their future life.
He made a triple quartet with those loud boys and named them the Hanaro Quartet, which means be as one. They were happy to sing together, but we all needed big patience when we listened to their singing.
The Lufkin Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has a new pastoral leader, and his goal is to follow his calling to serve others and share the gospel.
Sister Julia Ermakova said, "I loved Elder Nelson's Russian. Everything was right." Sister Lusine Badalyan said, "I felt the Spirit the moment I entered the room, and I still feel the Spirit even after the meeting is over." Sister Kateya Bukholtzeva said, "I will never forget these two days. I loved these days. I don't want to leave!"
It is a wonderful sight to see all of you fathers sitting shoulder to shoulder with your sons to listen to the teachings of the Lord and receive counsel from the General Authorities of the Church. It is always a joy to be united with men and young men of the priesthood, but there is something special about seeing fathers and sons here together. It is a visual reminder of two of the most powerful elements of our theology: priesthood and family.
"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance -- that principle is... CONTEMPT PRIOR TO INVESTIGATION."
no. you see - i actually watch the glenn beck show so that i KNOW what i'm talking about. he's a disgrace. but i watch so that i KNOW.
if you don't watch the video i suggested and call it PROPAGANDA with "contempt prior to investigation" - then you live by that principle as do so many "right-wing" non-thinkers and are small-minded like beck and deserve the fear and anger you live in everyday.
you are ignorant and content to be so - even strangely proud to be so
what a pathetic, silly little creature. it explains so much about the right-wing of this country. i'm through trying. there are others who are open to new information, differing viewpoints and new ideas. my time is better spent elsewhere.
can a sinful man like Joseph Smith change what Jesus makes clear in his own words??? from the book of Matthew, 22: 24-34 (Jesus about life after death),, if mormons dont agree with Jesus while on earth then where will they end up, in one of the many mansions Jesus is preparing for his believers,,, not doubters,,,
"there is nothing better than having the in-laws over" especially, when they're also your own parents... get it, mormon fuzz.
