At 6:16 onward- I love how they get all quiet and pretty. 7:06 Duane starts the climb again and Dickey plays some real nice harmonies. 7:53, Jaimoe kicks Duane funky-style.
Duane Allman seems to capture everything with this rendition of Mountain Jam. He not only controls the pace and melody but he goes to a level that trancends the normal musician. What an epic piece of music. Juiceman
somewhere between the 8:39 of this video and the very beginning of part IV, if you hear it uninterrupted, I may be mistaken, but I think I hear Duane's forgetting where to go next... and Dickey cues him with a note. I know this sounds like blasphemy against Duane Allman (nobody loves him more than I), but can someone confirm this for me? I've heard it for years and often wondered.
back when i was in the army, during my forced marchs i used to have this song playing in my head.... it helped me put down one foot after another repeatedly until i was done......
At 7:09 to 8:00 or so, is six cats cookin' so hard- it's never done anymore. You have to listen to Larry Carlton if you want any kind of rush near this.
This is such a great part of the song I love this. I wish I had a dollar. But don't care Thank you boys you enriched my life by playing this and recording this for all!! Like no other could do period..
I started listening to this, all parts, and completing forgot what I was on the computer for. This brought back great memories.

There's something in this song for fans of all different music. Rock, Jam, jazz, progressive, southern rock, even classical. It's amazing.

When Duane kicks his slide back,(5:45) and the triumphant sounds of the march forward on, In all its glorey.
I cry everytime.

At the 3:00 minute mark! That's when you finally see the Pearly Gates come into view -- and you know the "intake hearing" will go just fine....

Feel the Ferocious Power and Fury of Duane Allman
NO ONE has or will ever play the slide like he could, Duane would wipe the floor with that over rated stooge Eric Clapton
