  • Woooooooooow!!!

  • You're awesome, Warren. A year ago, I was sitting here thinking, "Wow. I'm never gonna be that good," and now, here I am again, having learned the entire song. :D

I love your tuts, and please keep em comin!

  • woooww thank you man !!

    very very nice cover !

  • I love the original but there's something about just seeing the whole song being played in front of you that makes it's better in it's own way. I had no idea that's what was going on for the guitar part. It's inspiring, it makes me want to pick up my guitar and start writing in an unorthodox way.

  • i'm gonna look up your tutorial right now :)

  • How can you play and sing at the same time? I'm having a huge trouble with this. I can sing this song, but I can't sing at the same time. I forgt the lyrics or I forget how it is played... This happens in some songs... How can I improve this?

  • @syednayeem1 I was going to say something about your pathetic rants, but then I noticed you're from India. I'll just say this. (If you have ever thought of moving) please stay in India, we don't need fuckers like you causing accidents all over the place due to shitty driving, many thanks bud

  • ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!

  • I Love your style from 2:00 to 3:08

  • thom would be proud

  • Beautiful Voice!

  • wow u sing really good

  • Great cover - at 1:13, shouldn't it be D#-D-C instead of D-C#-C on the low E?

  • @jakkmove Hmm... not to my ears. That wouldn't sound bad at all though!

  • @jakkmove I hate to to contradict Warren, but I think you're a 100% Right on this. You can check Thom Yorke's Perfomance for further reference.

  • @Eblanc Not really important, but the way I did it was from the studio version. They both sound fine since they are chromatic and make sense leading to C.

  • @warrenmusic Fair enough. No further comment.

  • You're awesome. I've watched more of your tutorials and I can clearly see you're a big fan of Radiohead. Keep up the great work! :)

  • alright i got a new recording up, but the guitar wa a little sloppy lol

  • thanks dude, very helpful!!!!

  • i would give you six stars if I could, amazing job

  • beautiful man, you're so good!

  • Fucking flawless guitar playing. How you managed to incorporate all the guitar parts into one is amazing. I'd kill to be able to hit the strumming patterns like you. Bravo.

  • Highest Praise for Warren's generous and engaging tutorials and performances. And YO, Don't critique a teacher, dumb*sses! He's puttin' it out there and helping people: you should be Sending him Money for his efforts: who knows, he may be inspiring the next T. Yorke....thanks again Warren and keep it up. You pretty much rock, Mr.

  • Yeah! I'm agree with you Bobknobsky

  • @bobknobsky Hey, I agree with everything you say except that critiquing can lead to improvement. While it's difficult to find anything to improve upon in both Warren's cover and his lessons, it's always possible. Just saying. But yes, support Warren for what he's done and Warren, you're a great guitarist and very good singer as well, thanks for your tutorials.

  • ...

  • and also, star rating must be 4,5 i know it`s a good cover but still lacking something for 5 stars! :)

  • BTW, I wonder is this "warrenmusic" guy Native American? Don`t get me wrong I`m no racist or something. He`s my subscription and I enjoy his videos and all.

I`m just asking this out of pure curosity!

  • terrific, i already added u to skype, i hope talk soon dude.

  • simply amazing, thanks Warren!

  • I think he played "rain down" part too slow. didn`t he, guys?

  • Definitely....and one of his hairs was slightly out of place during "from a great height..." :-)

  • Yes, maybe you're not wrong. But I feel this performance more depressed and it's perfect like that. ;)

  • ye ya he did gigsixtrrrring ur right ;)

  • then why do I have 3 thumbs down?! :)

good to see someone finally agrees with me.

  • It's always a pleasure and easier to learn any Radiohead's partitions with you Warren. Thanks again :).

  • BRAVO warren!!!

Greetings from Greece, you helped me a lot with Radiohead tutorials!!!!

  • Fuck me! That's on a par with Thom Yorke!

  • oh my god so good u rocks!

  • amazing as usual

  • You are sooo talented!!!! Fabulous!!!!

  • I learnt this song off you and i'm still having massive trouble getting even halfway decent.

But i still feel the need to tell you that your own recording of this would be better with a decent mic and even just a little reverb.

  • 2+2= 5 stars

  • @wackyhackey clever.

  • i love you! hahaha

  • What kind of guitar is that?

  • I played this song before. It's my favorite one but I had some problems with the "Off with his head now" part..... thank you so much... you rule !!!

  • This is the sickest SH*T ive ever seen!!! You are so amazing, 5 stars!

  • Slap-e-slap-e-slap eh? Kidding aside, one damn good cover my friend. 5* - Now to check out your turorial. Looks like a challenge!

  • really great, very nice voice

  • Awesome dude :D! Great cover

  • Wow, warren, GREAT cover.. Really, I post 5 stars for a video very rare.

  • thanks warren 2 + 2 = 5 pls

  • Amaazing! Can't wait to learn it.

  • great cover.

By the way i really enjoyed the blowout demo on your bands website. Nice stuff.

  • @bookerTTT wow, thanks! i'm honored. thanks so much for listening... that is the first song i wrote with my trio.

  • just wondering... after the "voices in my head" part, did you mean to play the verse a bit longer before going to the "what's there" part?

  • @filteredglitch yeah i kinda like it that way.

  • ik its either "whats this" or "Whats that" but its not "whats there" haha great song

  • it appears you are correct. haha i never knew that... i guess it makes slightly more sense!

  • wow..... brilliant!!! as usual

  • 2 hours later ive got it...hahah thanks man

  • Just again reaffirming my placement of you over all of the other cover artists on youtube. I'm astounded that this video, and the tutorials haven't already had more views. I mean, it's only been a short time, but c'mon. half of the guitar playing Radiohead fans have tried and failed to play this song properly. You do many of us a great justice. This song will be given most of my free time this weekend. I may inquire on those theory lessons sometime soon. I've had some theory, but want to advance

  • Brilliant cover.....love it !!

  • TE AMO!

  • Great cover. You should whip out your electric guitar and cover the solos. That would be awesome.

  • godlike... as in thom like haha

  • Just like I said on facebook last night, It was beautiful.

  • Warren, You're my hero!

  • It's great!

Waiting For Tutorial..or just tabs for this version

  • Watched one more time

    Playing is perfect! My congratulations.

  • remarkable my man...everytime i see one of your videos i wanna pick up the guitar! keep up the tremendous work!...i think Radiohead would be proud...

  • absolutely excellent

  • amazing

  • nobody does it better,

  • So A is played

    x-0-x-2-2-0, or

    5-x-7-6-5-5

    And similarly E is

0-x-2-1-0-0 etc. Probably won't notice a big difference (does emphasise the 3rd a bit more), but the G/B instead of the G is instantly recognisable.

On the quick sequence starting on C, can't quite see yr fingering but something sounds out. My understanding is its:

    C - Csus4 -

    4-x-6-5-6-x - A (repeat)

(Just discussing, btw. For the avoidance of doubt, you can piss guitar much harder, further and longer than me :)

  • @jonoderidder Why don't we take this over to the Facebook? YT's comment page is lacking for this type of in-depth discussion. But a quick response to your points... valid, and I don't disagree with them. However I will say that Thom does play it this way in the live version I reference in the description (including the C that goes 8-10-x-9-8-x, with the 5th string and muting the 4th, unlike your version). It doesn't make any difference with regard to tonality or implied harmony though.

  • Very nice Warren. *Clap clap* I struggle to decide how to play this with just the acoustic-arpeggio or strum? How to get the intensity jump sans distortion? Love yr rendtion.

Hate to be a tiny bit of a pooper tho: I think you've a couple of the chords wrong. Especially after the Cm on "rain down" you play G but I'm pretty certain its G/B:

    x-2-0-0-3-3

(try it, sounds much nicer). And through that sequence pretty sure most of the major chords are sans the low 5th. (TBC)

  • @jonoderidder I'm using G/B, the exact one you have tabbed out, if you listen closely. I use my middle finger to mute so I can see why you might think I wasn't using the first inversion.

  • master piece!!!!
