Thank you, this video was an encouragement to me! My dad is a law enforcement officer as well so it's like this video has a deeper connection with me, thank you for your service by the way, both as an officer and as a fellow Christian. I have been blessed to serve with BOAM (Bible open air missions) in NYC twice and this is the same type of thing that we do while we are there. It is always encouraging to see fellow believers serving in the same venue plus it's a tool to learn from! God bless
Greetings and thank you for the credit you gave us that day. A lot of people do not realize how hard our work is, and what we see out there on a daily basis. Your preaching was inspiring, and very touching.
The bucket drummers can sometimes be bothersome, but like tony I try and always hold my ground for the gospel. However trying to speak over them can wear you out quickly if you do not pace yourself. They are also usually in it for tips and if they are not making money they usually leave long before we are done preaching.
that drummer was really annoying...sadly sorta drowned out your amazing preaching, might be better to choose a better spot next time away from other buskers etc. would be tons better I believe.
Respectfully, I have to disagree with moving to a different location. God is sovereign over everything, including the heralding of His Gospel. To switch loctions simply because a boy was beating on buckets would have been to relinquish the ground to the enemy. And EVERY person that God wanted to hear the gospel, heard the gospel.
At the Academy, we train people to "just preach"--regardless of the weather, types of hecklers, distractions, or locale. Just preach and don't quit! :-)
That was so awesome! What an awesome opportunity fulfilled. :)

Nice sermon. Thanks for reminding me that resentment is a sin. I've been wrestling bitterly with my resentment for a long, long time!
