We really do need to Wake Up, get Active, regarding our selves and our political system. The flag of the original 13 colonies of this United States depicted a snake sliced in 13 segments yet united. The motto of the flag: Don't Tread on Me. Those people were speaking truth to power. No taxation without representation. Today we could save, no taxation without full disclosure.
This is the eighth in a series of serious commentaries on the the Occupy movement and our fragile economic connections to each other. This is a critical moment, a turning point in our history. A brave and determined number of individuals have joined together to raise some deep questions about how we are living. Watch the whole series. Can we harness the energy that has been loosed and keep it moving positively? I hope so.
It is sad that our "Democracy" has been replaced by a conciousless ( my word, Not in the dictionary!) plutocracy.
