i hate this copyright bullshit ... the first back ground sound was so uber genious ... all your motions where so perfect in harmonie with this song (what was it agein ... is soo long ago ... and i swear by god ... it was just the most perfect music performance fighting what-ever-you-wanna-call-it i have ever seen)
@TheLittleFranz - I'll see if i can upload it somewhere else and then send you the link :) Thanks for the great comment. This was my favourite video too until they wiped the music. It was 'can't stop' by the red hot chili peppers going into the final lyrics of 'the ground beneath her feet' by U2.
hey im also curious.. what do u think about Coldsteel's new bokken. the Polypropylene one.. have u ever used one ? i just ordered one.. hope it works out so i can pracitce moves like u with that..
hey so ive been watching ur videos for a while and you have me hooked.. i just bought my first katana. 1095 steel. :) i would like to learn the way of the sword.. anyway i need a pair of bokken to practice with.. can u tell me what kind u use and where to get them online? i would much appreciate this.. FREEdom in SWORDS !
That's some crazy stuff man! I've been training since i was little and find much enjoyment in sword coreography but i'm not nearly as good yet. Maybe because i have to get rid of some body weight.^^ What kind of equipment do you use in this video? Sometimes it looks like boken and sometimes live blades. And what kind of staf do you use?
Great video and thanks for some good inspiration! This is an artform and what you're doing is art!

awesome video... even though the increadibley slow loading time made me want to kill myself... and i did listen to the original song while playing the video, it makes it way better
Man How fun it would be to have a fight with u sometime, u know, just for fun, like a practice match, I'm nott so good in swordplay as u but it would be fun as hell to try! XD Keep up the good work! ;D
It sucks that they took the original audio. Just the other day I was driving down the road and that Chilli Peppers song was on the radio. Every time I hear it, the images of this video play to it in my head. I bet you never thought you'd reach people as far away as I am on the north eastern side of the U.S.
It's the best video on the topic i've ever seen by simple guys. We too have tried to make such a video, but when you have the red light on you cant do what you naturally do in sword practice
Whats the name of the second song please. Btw, i was trying to find this vid for ages but i couldnt remember your nickname TPRoach, good to have restumbled upon it. :D
Hahahah, I would like very much one day to duel you. If what you've shown here is any indication of your talents, I believe it would be an interesting encounter, to say the least.
Wow, you're pretty good. Better than me, especially at the weapon twirling. Other than that, there's nothing I saw that I couldn't do. Nonetheless, you're better than I am. Good show.
Nice. I'm about that good. 7 years of practice. I'm skilled in Kamas, Bo Staffs, Katanas, Tonfas, Gauntlets/claws, Shuriken and I recently picked up a tristaff. Those things are hard as hell to use...
hey i have a question it is doshoner to let your katana touch the ground right because i always thought it was n i always tell my friends to never let mine touch the ground when i let them hold it n they are like why dude thats dumb but i just wanted to double check b4 i act like a retard even more if im wrong but thx dude keep up the good work rock on dude
You're right it is a dishonour. I never let my best swords touch the ground (or my mates touch them lol), but my other weapons can do what they like :)
I try to show as much honour as is needed at each moment. Manners are the most important thing to me, but gettin a bit of mud on bokkens i've hand carved myself? what? haha no dishonour mate. (just dont do it in a dojo! they will bite ya head off)
Does all of you think that this techniques are impressive?...Well if you do, then you had simply seen the one side of the way of the Warrior...It is just my opinion, but i stronly believe that the way of the warrior leads to the perfect spiritual and physical harmony, balancing materialism with spiritualism...My fellow Warrior TPRoach, I think that you already know that and also that this video was made not only to show your sword abilities, but something more...The Warrior Within...
I'm a martial arts instructor, and all I have to say is that you are skilled in the ways of XMA, and since you understand that a sword should not touch the ground, then I won't be the one to scold you about it because I'm sure you've heard it all before at some point or another. So long as you realize what it means, I have no problem with your style. :)
Dude, your like 100 types of awesome and scary. I was listening to Teardrop by massive attack while watching this and it was kinda bone-chilling. In a good way!
ahh i want i want to go against him i won ten compitions no lose, there was this one tough guy, he had to many openings but can block well, and this other guy keep letting his fron leg, so i tagged that many times
dude i have been practicing for about 3-4 months now n im getting better than before obviously but you inspired me for that i thank you keep up the great work im gonna go outside right now n practice haha seeya m8
I agree that no one practices on swords any more and that honor is dead nowadays. Im from Greece. I always loved To be Independent when practising and developing my skills with my swords.I use nintoryu Techniques. My Friends Call Me Silver But None Of Them Is Good with swords and like you said Much honor to you .
Hey, I guess there is warriors left in this world. I do my research and I highly respect Greek warriors aswell. Quick question though, what is nintoryu? Keep training in the wayz of the bladez my warrior brothers. Through this young ignorant generation honor will still live through us.
Nintoryu is a variety of techniques basiclly done by 2 Swords. I personally use A Katana and A Wakizashi(Shorter Katana).Katana on the right hand(My better hand) and the Wakizashi on the Left. And Here Is A Little Secret For My DREAM. I WANT TO BE THE BEST WARRIOR THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN.(After Finishing My Book Of Course)May swordmanship and scholarship be my guides. Much Honor By The Silver Warrior...
Awesome, I love a challenge and no one practices on swords any more. Honor is dead now a days. Im from Chicago IL. i always loved the code of the samurai and ninitsu. basically anything with a sword I love. U trained since you were 11 too!? Much honor to you and your friend. Theres not many modern day warriors. Again much honor...
TP ur my nigga! i trained with blades since I was 11 so its nice to see some one just as young with the same interest. Where u trained to get your skills? My favorite terraine is snow. Like I said man, from a warrior to another much honor...
hey man sup great work ill hafta get a video of myself im learning i practice everyday about 2 hours a day sometimes like 4 if i dont got anything to do n i want your opinion if im doing things wrong and how to improve my skill and also awesome video great music keep up the great work man
This style of traing and combat is way beter in my opinon then nowadays. the shoot as many bullets hoping to hit something way. its easy and everyone can shoot a gun. Fewer people can get good at combat like kenjutsu. You got a drive for something and it looks like you havnt given up what you really want to do. Keep up the good work!
Interesting...You seem to have a mix of styles, the most abundant of which from what I saw(If I'm not wrong XD) seems to be Hokushin-Itto...I would enjoy a match agaisnt you if we ever met...Tho...I can't promise you would walk away from it...*Not being cocky*
But I have to ask, why do people use the Ming bow, for Chinese Wushu, when practising Japanese arts? It is used all the time...just wondered for ages...
awesome vid but you need to add like cutting something such as a tatami poll lol or like a branch or maybe apples.. they are fun to cuz... can's.... its fun
dude whatever this dude is badass i try n staff n sword fight u try it n ull change ur mind this guy is awesome id like to see you guys do that its not bull or flashy in my mind i think its sweet keep up the great work dude
hey if its not too much to ask can you tell me where u learned at like did you go to a school or just teach yourself kool music too btw great work keep it up
a few years practicing with the katana and i will be good with it and the staff :D
hey ever had this happen to you? I was at a friends house playin Soul Calibur and i was being owned as Link, friend using Kilik, and he was like "HA! Bet u wish you were as good as me!" and i am like "give me a broom handle" - lol pulled off almost every one of the staff techniques :P my friend shat himself
Hmmm lol havnt seen this vid in a while o.O pretty sure the only stuff I cant do in this vid is the crazy duel katana spins.. =D btw this really is a great vid lol
Impressive. It must've took you awhile to master that. You should think about movie choreography. The practical stuff does't look impressive on film at all. So, to the average Joe, simple stuff is boring. You're very creative. Keep up the good work. We'll cross train if you ever visit Canada.
Pretty nice skill there. I´ve done a bit of stick/blade thwirling myself. One question: do you train weapons combat of any sort or just concentrate on the artistic side?
good to know :) I do escrima/FMA personally (meaning mostly shorter blades/sticks), but apreciate (or how do you spell that one?) skill where I see it regardless of the style/form/art. I really hope you´ve improved your footwork since you made this vid :)
(especially liked the staff portions of the vid, since it´s one area I´m interested in but haven´t got the chance to train very much/at all)
..........sure its ok to look...flash but weither u can hit the target with force is a different matter. the best techniques are the simple ones like take it wen u was twirling the staff all ud need is a verticle slash with most types of sword and thats the end of it
but thats not was this video is trying to show.. is it. 'The best techniques are the simple ones' - 100% correct but that doesn't make for a cool video. Come over mine if you want to see some simple techniques up close.
Way better with "Can't Stop"

AWESOME!!! That is like so cool (least I think so). Now I so wanna learn kenjutsu. ^_^
LilyHithSilme 4 years ago
It was pretty good tricks with the sword, but its not Kenjutsu or related to it in any manor.
KeaStudios 4 years ago
kenjutsu is what i train at, this is more about cool stunts like ya said.

Bet u wish you were as good as me!" and i am like "give me a broom handle" - lol pulled off almost every one of the staff techniques :P my friend shat himself

As see i am the opposite of u saul, i am deadly with the Bo Staff, but swords i am still a minor
Immortalcheese 4 years ago
I could do these moves with the sword with no problems... but hell, I am not even close to your skill with staff!
saulofontoura 4 years ago
Very nice man. I wish you could teach me. Katana and Bo Staff are 2 things I really want to learn to use.
Dakrul427 4 years ago
dude ur sword technique is awesome but ur staff skillz r epic u should specialize in staves if u go into teh movies
0nfir34h1m 4 years ago
awesome, where did u learn this stuff?
theblazingraven 4 years ago
OH SHIT! lol. Dude you WILL be in movies. That was definitely professional quality sword stunts right there. I expect to see you in movies soon!
mrflu2 4 years ago

Bizzareraven 4 years ago
its all about the combat.. this vid was just for fun 3 years ago.
TPRoach 4 years ago
good to know :) I do escrima/FMA personally (meaning mostly shorter blades/sticks), but apreciate (or how do you spell that one?) skill where I see it regardless of the style/form/art. I really hope you´ve improved your footwork since you made this vid :)
(especially liked the staff portions of the vid, since it´s one area I´m interested in but haven´t got the chance to train very much/at all)
Bizzareraven 4 years ago
lol iwould but i live in england and mayb we can exchange styles
jesusvalentine 4 years ago
..........sure its ok to look...flash but weither u can hit the target with force is a different matter. the best techniques are the simple ones like take it wen u was twirling the staff all ud need is a verticle slash with most types of sword and thats the end of it
jesusvalentine 4 years ago
but thats not was this video is trying to show.. is it. 'The best techniques are the simple ones' - 100% correct but that doesn't make for a cool video. Come over mine if you want to see some simple techniques up close.
