  • i have a question didnt clark fly at the beginning of season 1 like in episode 2?

  • Clark's an asshole

  • So... did he just crash into the ground then or was that a dream or simulation from Jor El.

  • that isnt flying its fallingg.. with stylee :D

  • hey does anyone know where I can get a replica of that coat

  • give him red k.

  • Technically he is flying, just downwards towards the ground....

  • still can't fly

  • This is insane, if this is the last season Clark should be able to fly. before i say goodbye forever to Smallville, I wanna see the BIrth of Superman...100% powers and all

  • @AIRTUBEY Dude this is season 9. Season 10 is the final season.

  • @kranktank it was given to him by his

Mom and it is the actual suit from SR

  • @olivermask I think a new take on the original costume would be much better, as the original costume looks rather absurd in a real-life context. The showrunners should take the same approach they did when they used an altered Superman logo for the symbol burned into Clark's chest in Season 2. In my opinion, the original "S" looks corny, and too closely resembles our own alphabet's "S." Why Smallville has since changed the symbol back to the original one I do not know....

  • @zenjiros the s symbol on the suit that Chloe gave him (I think it was Chloe) looks like the one in superman returns

  • Yeah, I've missed the legendary Mark Snow's composing on Smallville. The show lost another colossal piece of its original heart Snow left. It's yet another missing piece of the ever-deteriorating Smallville.

  • He should fly in the 10th season, sooner or later.

  • He STILL hasn't flown yet?

  • @olivermask Traditional. He's had the same awesome costume for over 70 years. It makes sense for Batman not to wear that type of uniform, but Superman should keep the same one.

  • @olivermask

its the superman returns costume with brighter colors and a bigger S

  • Why is he dressed like NEO from Matrix...

  • Look at this scene then look at the final scene of the season finale (Salvation) and it is really obvious what will happen in the season 10 premiere to resolve the cliffhanger... Look at the way in which he falls in both instances... with his arms splayed open forming the Jesus on the cross look... It is obvious "bookending" of the season 9 theme, embracing his destiny... which was watch was holding him back... He accepted himself as a Kryptonian which kept him tethered to the ground.

  • @kennyalancramer so wat ur basically saying is tht he finally accepts who he is and controls his flight power?

  • @kennyalancramer problem is he won't be able to fly because of the blue kryptonite dagger stuck inside him. and if he removes it he'll get teleported by the book of rau.

but I guess he'll probably think that's better than dying and will remove the dagger, heal up, and fly at the last second before hitting the ground. and someone else shuts down the book of rau.

that should make an excellent opening scene. and also mean he will be flying in all of season 10.

  • @kennyalancramer

"it is really obvious what will happen"

Yeah... he falls to the ground and Lois finds him.

  • Lmao he got scared

  • They seem to like black these kryptonians like

  • @Dedokai32 trench coats too and, oddly, dog tags... Love the show, but dog tags on the Kandorians, really?! Kryptonian dogtags?! I though aliens were supposed to have inspired religion and the great pyramids, but dog tags?! Hey... according to Star Trek Enterprise, Vulcans invented velcro... so who knows :)

  • @kennyalancramer I was also pissed off seeing the Kryptonian soldiers dressed up exactly like modern Earth soldiers. not just with dogtags but with the same hats, rank insignias and so on.

It has an extremly WTF feeling about it

  • @CIarKent I can't say it pissed me off exactly... but I was definately confused as to why they chose to do that... Anyway, along the same lines why do kryptonian's speak english in flash backs to Krypton, why not have it subtitled? I know that aliens speaking english is a trend in most scifi... If some can make up the Klingon language, why not "Krypton-ese"? Just have it subtitled... Geeks everywhere would rejoice...

  • I don't mind them speaking english because we can just assume it's being dubbed for us in english.

but the fact that they wear earth-like 20'th century military uniforms, in a society that's supposed to be alien and thousands of years more advanced, was extremly disturbing.

I also hated how all of them copied Clark's appearance, which itself was also copied from the Matrix movies.

it would have been ok if only Clark dressed up like Neo. but when they all started doing that it was annoying

  • @CIarKent The Matrix, IMO was CLEARLY either a rip or a prelude to HOW Superman/Superhero fights SHOULD be filmed. PERIOD man!!! Hence the obviousseeming clothing details... lol

  • Well in season 6 i think or season 7, one of the episodes with bizarro there's a scene where a woman laying on a bed is speaking an unknown langauge, Chloe asks him [Bizarro] what she's saying and he says it's kryptonian @kennyalancramer

  • @kennyalancramer The powers that be at DC Comics dont want kryptonian to be spoken in any form, tv, movies, or cartoons.

  • Where can I watch all these episodes online?

  • @kryptoncolomo go to ilovesmalllville dott com than click on the episode you want to watch and than right click anywhere on the next page it takes you to before ti blacks out to "fill in this survey" crap than you can proceed on clicking on "view page source" than do a search on the page source box it opens for a link with the name megavideo in it than highlight the whole link and copy past to address bar and hit go and there ya go!...free episodes smallville decent quality

  • @StuartTheGamerNerd is season 9 out on dvd yet?

  • no but the ilovesmallville website hack works, much better than than the cw website's blurry episodes :D

  • any idea when it is out?

  • nope no clue......maybe in another 5 months or so

  • ola

  • @kryptoncolomo go to ch131 dott com and select smallville new episodes every friday to saturday they have twenty episodes so far or nineteen

  • I bet the producers wont let Clark fly until the very last episode of the very last season. A this point that's the only way they could justify all this waiting! Because when he does finally fly, it's going to have to be hella dramatic!!

Plus they said they didn't want a show that was "all about capes and flying" and Tom Welling said he didn't want to fly sooo....

Despite that i'm still keeping my fingers crossed!

  • i believe that from the comics i think he learns to fly by accident so i'm just letting it happen

  • The only way I think this series could end respectfully and in a way that all the fans will be satisfied is if we finally see Clark fly, if not then he's not and never will be Superman. That's just my personal opinion however.

  • @tritonus411 You know Superman couldn't originally fly. That wasn't one of his powers with Siegel and Shuster first created him. Hence he could "leap tall buildings in a single bound" which Smallville Clark can do. I'm not saying I don't want him to fly, I'm just saying they could get an out in the show with a reason for having him not fly (even though we know he and the Kryptonians can)

  • @MGOSnakeLiquid That's true, I'll give you that, but he also didn't have heat vision, x-ray vision or super hearing at the very beginning. Most fans today know Superman to be able to fly because that's the way it's been for the majority of his run, it's become iconic of the character. What I was trying to get out in my comment is that Clark will not be a complete Superman without his ability to fly, he'd be close, but not quite there.

  • @tritonus411 That HAS been the plan since the beginning. He's gonna be superman. They wouldn't dare put him in the superman costume and have him just zip off in super speed. He WILL fly. It's always been the plan.

  • @Keegmire I know, it's just that I also know how weird TV executives can be with their stupid ideas. I'm just afraid that one day one of them will go, "You know what would be a really good idea? What if Clark never learns to fly and becomes a completely different superhero, like a totally awesome plot twist right? Don't like it, well you're doing it anyway." If the writers remain in control I think we'll see Clark become Superman, but I've seen execs kill other good shows like this. Just sayin'.

  • @tritonus411 I understand where your coming from but the good thing about the NEW producers of smallville, as you can see from last year's season, they are completely devoted to their fans. They said in a recent interview that their goal is to make the last episiode of smallville the greatest episode in the show's history. They want nothing more then to please the fans =)

  • @Keegmire I noticed that too, I just hope they keep that up. They sound like they're genuine in their desire to satisfy the fans and I applaud them for that. I'm just saying that I've seen situations like this before and most of the time the execs sell out and make major changes to broaden the show's appeal. I do have to say, however, that I have a good feeling about these producers and actually do expect great things from this show. Thanks for the polite counter argument by the way. ;)

  • @tritonus411

I think that he will fly in the series finale. C'mon I don't think that they want to unsatisfy the fans.

  • @tritonus411 And you were right, that was the end of smallville

  • Fly Clarky Fly....Up Up To The Sky......xDDD....I like his black "super" outfit... :D

  • Season 9 episode 10 leaked now , download at

    smallvilleseason-9.blogspot [dot] com

  • ı know this song... batman begins?

  • not, i think is Marc Snow's music, like the majority of the smallville's background music, without counting the soundtrack from recognized bands and singers :D

  • @ahponte Actually, the show's composer is Louis Febre. Mark Snow left after season 6.

  • thank you buddy, good information :D

  • No problem. ;)

  • I don't think Mark Snow has done the show since season seven - I could be wrong on that though. . .

  • haha i don't notice that sounds like batman's OST from Hans Zimmer, but not...

  • don't get your hopes up people. He won't fly this season.

The best we can probably hope for is quick 20 second scene at the end of season 25, when Clark is 42 and has fought every comic book villain the writers can think of.

  • ahahahahahahahahahahah

  • Fly, FLY DAMN IT!

  • i want to know is when clark will learn how to fly

  • series finale...

  • this is like a movie and not a tv show wahouu great job!

  • just awersome!!!!!!

  • it was a rule that the original producers and tom welling wanted, i doubt its still the same now.

  • and to make it even worse Tom Welling a.k.a "Clark Kent" is one of the Executive Producers this season

  • what means "a.k.a"?? I'm an Spanish speaker and idk what that means...

  • Also Known As

  • Ok, thanks

  • You're welcome.

  • Alias

  • The Executive Producers are supreme assholes for creating that rule, i love the show but this is the last season for heaven sake

  • Actually there's a big chance that it will go on to Season 10

  • The only thing that's keeping him from flying is the Smallville producers & the No Tights No Flights Rule.

  • If he could just learn inside himself to truly fly, like Kara. the better off he'll be Superman

  • sexy tom!

  • lol he's not flying he's falling with style

  • wonderful!!

  • He really looked like superman...
