  • your not supposed to put it in a microwave -_- you put it in the heater packet and fill up to the line, it sets of a chemical reaction that heats it up.. really really fast.

  • the bread smells like cat food

  • lol "making your diarrhea burn".....

  • OK ILL JUST PEE IN MY MRE BAG AND USE IT FOR ALL MY FOOD :D

  • i love my mres i always get skittles

  • just tip mres onto google and it will pop uf fags

  • Where do you get MRE's and how much do they cost?

  • u cant buy it from a local store...

  • @supercourse2 no u cant there usa army issued dumbass hahaha!!!

  • In the UK its illegal to sell army rations :>

  • No it's not.

Just because the MOD packs have "not for resale" on them, doesn't make it illegal, does it?

    Ofcourse they're perfectly legal.

    Silly thing to say that.

  • So ur saying soldier magizine is wrong???? i read it out of there

  • where can you buy the mre

  • please read the comments, you can get them online or at military surplus stores

  • @punkerbluhd omline and some Army and Navy surplus stores

  • The only differences between military and commercial MREs, are the labeling and heaters. Last time I had a civilian MRE it did not come with a heater.

  • That is incorrect, there are a lot of civilian MRE manufactures, and each one is different, most do have heaters, while some do not. Some only have a main entree and others have various side dishes. The most recent civilian variant I bought came with a heater and a small packet of salt water used to operate the heater

  • hey where can i buy the packs?

  • @iMSoHigh420ritenow army is the only place that has em :(

  • back in the service if you put a lil pinch of c-4 it would warm that puppy up perfectly or you would blow the shit out of your ration its a good and bat all at once my favorite is either chili mac or imitation pork rib

  • i love the imitation pork rib

  • everyone hates on mres but when you have been in the feild all day you they due the trick

  • mre must distribution in japan

  • you know its ok to have a hunter mre but the chicken noodle stew tastes horrible

  • Strawberry? lol

  • Your so lucky I wish you could mail me one lol. but seriously I HAVE ALWAYS wanted to know what the vanilla pound cake taste like it looks so good is it sweet? please tell me!

  • yea they're good, the best is the milkshake

  • i had a blue berry cobler and it was amazing haha

  • ive got a box of mre's but so far aint got no m&m's nor skittles, but still they taste kinda good, been having problems with the cooking pads they seem not to heat up much.

  • for some reasons the newer ones I have gotten haven't had any candy in them. How long are you letting the mre heat with the cooking pad?

  • well let it heat bout 10min and only felt warm, then my last one let it a bit more bout 15min and kinda felt the same, any tips u can throw my way?

  • the only thing I can think of is maybe they are not genuine Military ration heaters, maybe a civilian mre or something. The heaters never get extremely hot, not close to boiling, but they do get so you cannot comfortably pick them up. i have no idea why yours are not working correctly

  • army surpluse stores there realy good to ya know

  • where can you get those?

  • internet

  • you can get them from local military surplus stores, they are kind of hard to find on the internet

  • no there easy to find on ebay

  • Just ate a mre today

it was a sloppy joe...It was good. No bun but two slices of filling bread to make me a sandwich. It was delicous! (Dont eat the cheese!)

  • posted that last comment before i had watched the entire thing- i take it back. good taste in music- the strokes rock! where do you get your mres, and how do they tastse? thanks

  • I get them at Military Surplus Stores and gun shows, if you know someone well enough in the military they might be able to hook you up with some. Most of them taste good and the rest are OK, they are great for camping

  • ah dang- i was at the local surplus store a few months ago and they had mre's but i purchased a bdu jacket instead. i come back a few weeks later and theyre gone. it was vegetable lasanga- did i miss out? thanks :)

  • I've never had vegetable lasagna, but I have never had one that I absolutely hated either

  • dude what the fuck my beef enchilada mre didnt have m and ms ..... god damn you bush god damn you to hell

  • jambalya mmm

  • i bought a MRE it was the frankfuter hotdogs with chili. it is nicknamed the four fingers of death

  • I had one of those and that is a very fitting nickname, mine didn't have the chili but they still sucked

  • i actualy liked them o0o

  • The frankfurters are probably my least favorite variety, but maybe the chili could disguise the flavor (and I didn't have the heater so I had to eat them cold)

  • me too

    alot

  • hey guys, help meeded.. how can i get my hands on them? where can i buy them... i wanna buy some in bulk

    get back to me thanks

  • sorry man I don't buy them in bulk, maybe some other people can help you though. if you find somewhere that does sell them in bulk please tell me, sorry I couldn't help

  • i see them a lot on line, do you know where they are in stores so i can actually see one instead of buy the wrong flavor

  • try some local military surplus stores

  • squidgysailor you can get them in bulk on e-bay and most people will tell what the different menus are for each one.

I buy mine in bulk from a local army surplus store. He usually sells them for $7.00 each (which is an average price) but since I buy them in bulk he sells them to me for a lot less. See if any local army surplus stores do anything like that.

  • The other day I bought one for 3 bucks. I had Menu NO.24 Meatloaf with gravy.

  • MRE's rule...does anyone know where to find them cheaper than 6 bucks?....they used to b like 3 bucks

  • no, I don't, sorry

  • balista4 if you buy them in bulk from either a place like e-bay or a local army surplus store you can usually them for about $4.00.

  • IKE!

  • go through a hurricane, they give them by the cases.

  • yea I was lucky enough to not have to go through a hurricane

  • I like the mac n cheese MRE yum good to eat while blowing up insurgents :)

  • M&M's no longer with the jambalaya (sadly) but when you eat mre's almost everyday, you start to hate them with a passion.

    USMC infantyman

  • I know the feeling

  • lol i got the same thing except they didn't pack my m&M"S!!!!!!!

  • that sucks, those chocolate coated candies make my day

  • same im still sad

  • Hey where do you get the Those kinds of MRE's because those are military grade and i have been trying to find them everywhere, so if you could tell me that would be great, thank you.

  • technically I think it is illegal to sell actual military MREs (I don't know why), and I think that is why they are hard to find, I got 7 of them at a local military surplus store, try around your area

  • where did you buy it and how much?

  • I bought it at a local military surplus store, I think it cost like $7, kind of a rip off, I have found them for around $5, look for them at local gun shows and you can find them online sometimes

    hope this helps

  • Eh, MREs are decent its all youve got when deployed so you better make the most of it.

  • i hate mre's before its its not gross what people thinks, i think their pretty good, other then the wheat bread i ate didnt taste that great till i added cheese spread with bacon

  • Yea, i think they are pretty good, but I think when you have to eat a few months worth they kind of loose their tastiness

  • jambalaya=best

  • no chicken fajita=best

  • i have a survival website and i had a mre in it.

  • I like you, you don't make any sense and doesn't afraid of anything

  • i seriously doubt the gum is a laxative i mean look at it this way the last thing a soldier needs when out in the field is to get diarrhea. besides i've had the gum myself an' nothin' happened to me.

  • I agree, I was just continueing a dumb rumor that should have stopped before it started, I only mentioned it because my friend said that it was a laxative, thanks for commenting

  • ya, the jambalaya is the best. in fact just had one today!!! it came with "almond poopy seed pound cake". why dont they come with m&ms or skittles anymore?

  • I don't know, I have to get mine from a military surplus store so they are usually a few months old, most of mine have skittles or m&ms in them

  • I want a box of MRE for my outdoor trips!

  • that's why I have these, for camping and trekking trips
