I recently picked up a 166 MKII at the thrift store for $5. It makes a nice addition to my McIntosh system and has given me a pathetic desire to re-acquire vintage late 60-early 70 rock and roll vinyl...sick, sick, sick. Actually, today I've listened to Steve Miller, Kansas, Gordon Lightfoot and Handel's Messiah. Just something special about that vinyl sound, neh? PS: Hola! (a little spanish lingo)

I've owned a 166 MKII since 1977 (that's correct). It doesn't quite see as much action since CDs came along, but make no mistake, vinyl on it still blows digital away.
