I agree having a fabulous exterior when the interior isn't right will never work. You got to beautify yourself from within and then match your outside with your inside. Some people do lure others in in the initial stages with their looks, but as long as their interiror lacks real confidence, love, and good intentions, their looks will not win anything for them in the long run.

I used to be negative back in HS as well. I just wasn't happy with myself so I pointed out the flaws in everyone else BUT me. It got to a point where my sister had to sit me down and tell me "your going to end your life early if you keep going the way your going". Since then I learned to love myself and the people I used to dislike. I just want to thank you for your video! You are truly a gift from God and a remarkable person with a beautiful personality.

@MsChanteJ72 It was only for a short period of time, I was going through a lot and rather than let people in and tell them what I was going through, I kept it all bottled in which ended up being much more detrimental. So many so called "friends" had taken advantage of my kindness, so I thought my only weapon/shield was to be a tougher person, so I wouldn't get hurt but I'm so glad that it was only a "phase" and I made amends and quickly began working on myself to be the best ME that I could be.

At one point in my life, when I was a lot younger, I experienced negativity from people who were not happy with themselves or with their lives. Those people, in a lot of ways, helped me become the fabulous, confident, and God-fearing woman that I am now! They hated Jesus first. Negativity, unfortunately, will always be around, but, like Jesus, we have to let our light shine!

I am confident when I am all glammed up for a night out and also when I'm just lounging around with no makeup on, my hair not done, and my pajamas on :-)

can you do a video on setting boundaries? I think that is also a key element in confidence. In knowing who you are- you know know your limits and abilities, however those around you may not fully appreciate these, and it may become difficult for you to establish

When I receive rude/negative/hurtful comments, messages, and emails I don't understand what I've done to those people to make them want to say something so hurtful to me. I have to remind myself that I did not do anything to them, some people are just negative because of their own life, so I just try to ignore it, block the people, and then keep on moving in a positive direction.
Can u do a video on self confidence in regards to women & romantic relationships....maybe discuss how we as a women can avoid men who may not be the best thing for us? Or how we can keep ourselves from going down the wrong path with bad partners & what we can do to attract better prospects?

can you do a video on setting boundaries? I think that is also a key element in confidence. In knowing who you are- you know know your limits and abilities, however those around you may not fully appreciate these, and it may become difficult for you to establish

@Greynutable That wasn't a part of my personal journey, I never set "boundaries" for myself in order to build my confidence, I don't really like speaking on things that I don't personally have experience with.

thank you for this vid!! from elementary through high school i was bullied. i always wondered why they were mean to me. in the end, i didnt do anything to them. it messed me up. i'm working on being a more confident person. i'm working on having a more positive attitude on life. thanks again.

Good Vid! Joyce Meyer said it best "Hurting people hurt others." It does hurt when people are mean to you without reason. I've learned that maturity is also key in to be the bigger person...it's not easy...let's keep it real.. but it is neccessary.

When I receive rude/negative/hurtful comments, messages, and emails I don't understand what I've done to those people to make them want to say something so hurtful to me. I have to remind myself that I did not do anything to them, some people are just negative because of their own life, so I just try to ignore it, block the people, and then keep on moving in a positive direction.

im 17 & everytime i try to build my confidence up some1 brings me down talking about "ur not that cute,ur only a 4 & a half,or this person looks better than you" & a grown man told me "u dnt look better than Tyra Banks".Like its hard for me to even look at the mirror sometimes,but this vid helped me a lil bit thank you God bless =)
