When I was watching this last night on BET I missed the first half hour or so. I hadn't even realized Jon Voight was Cosell. What a performance. Cosell and Ali had such a tremendous friendship back then.

This was the best opening to a movie that I had seen in sometime.

But joe frazier, the hardest and had the biggest heart boxing has ever seen. ali had to scrape himself off the canvas after manila, frazier wanted another round. ali is a multi millionaire joe frazier lives in a dingy flat above his gym. shows what america thinks of there heroes.

Will Smith is a great actor, wonderful human-being,too. I think he is/was, the closest you can find to ALI in an actor, or otherwise. Having said this, Ali can never be duplicated, replicated, simulated, by anyone; other than Ali himself. His soul is where Ali is difficult to exemplify. That with poise, brilliance of mind and body and a face so handsome makes him 1 of the most unique human beings to have graced the planet; by the will of the creator.
