a producer is a higher level person, who basically only says what is good, what not, what should be different

director is more creative, producer more economically/market/money concerned and so on

That ship-scrapping planet wasn't as fully explored in the game as these concepts make out. Too bad, it would be REALLY cool to fully explore the culture of Ship-Scrappers in ME. Oh, well, heres hoping they'll have a better level of expoloration in ME3.
