hey, at the end when the driver made that mistake and then corrected himslef and reveresed normally back into the bay, if i or anyone else did that would teh examiner fail you or not? thanks my test is tomorrow and am petrified lol thanks
could someone explain to me what a left/right Lock is? I have the impression that it's when the wheel can't turn any further but I've never heard it from my instructor.
@carrotsandnutella Hi thanks for that. "Lock" is the angle through which the front wheels turn when the steering wheel is turned - so left lock or right lock. "Full Lock" is when the steering wheel has turned as far as it will go - either left or right - and the amount of steering needed to achieve full lock will vary between different cars. Hope this helps, Bob.
Should the wing mirrors be set at one positon at all times or is it best to differentiate between parking and driving on say a carriage way to change lanes, which is the best way to set both side mirrors?
Hi and thanks. When getting into the car we should set the mirrors for normal driving. As a guide you should be able to see from the "B" pillar to the rear of the car and the bottom half of the mirror should show the road and the top half the sky (or buildings etc.). When reversing into a limited I choose to lower my mirrors to help with accuracy and then maintain good all round observation. I will take some photos and post a new video. Check back in a few days. Bob
I thought I heard a hymn tune part the way through this video, then at the end credits it was unmissable. Love it! :-)
