Thank you again for the time, love and honor you give of yourself each week to share these videos. My son left for Navy bootcamp today. We're so proud of and for him and grateful to all those that continue to serve and defend our great Nation. Comfort and Peace to the family, friends and those of us that didn't know them but are so thankful to the brave men and women that paid the ulitmate price for our freedoms.
Thank you Darren! Won't get to talk to him for a couple of weeks. But, will put it in my first letter out. I've decided to keep a little journal and write something about the day in it for every day to send to him with stuff going on around town, friends I run into that pass on well wishes, stuff like that. Otherwise it will just be letters of "I miss you. So proud of you! And keep doing your best!" You know, the usual 'Mom Stuff'!
U r very welcome. Our son is a Marine so we can understand a little bit.
The postings each week by JCastillo are outstanding. Breaks my heart but I refuse to miss a week. The sacrifices made are what it's all about in this country and only a few understand that. Enough of the soap box....God Bless our Fallen Heroes.
Our son's best friend went Marines too. Our youngest son graduates high school in May and is considering Marines as well. Best wishes to you son.
I discovered JCastillo's video tribute's in early June while searching for Navy videos. I have not missed a week yet. I feel like the news media (and for the most part American's in general) have forgotten the brave men and women still fighting.. and dying. I feel like it is my obligation and privilege to pay tribute to their sacrifice.
To be grateful and repectful of each and every member of our Armed Forces that have paid the ultimate price. When he posted the video of each member along with the date for the entire year, I copied the information of the soldier that was killed on my birthday and said a special trbute to him on my Facebook and emailed it to all my friends and family. Just as a 'gentle' reminder to everyone not to forget them, to honor their service and to hopefully let more people know about the weekly vids.
Thank you for making these weekly videos. As a veteran, I am very grateful for the people that take the time to honor the men and women that make the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I share these every week on my Facebook account but it doesn't seem to be working properly through the Share link?
3:09 PFC Zach Lovejoy was my best friend. Thank you for posting this video. He was a good man and an amazing soldier. He was a great friend.
