the tunnel reminded me of THX 1138, the vertical climb was in fact done in an horizontal tunnel but they tilted the camera sideways i think :)
if you google for [ daz matanim ] you can find the new daz script i wrote that lets you animate UV maps and colors and other properties of the surfaces in your scene :)

The tunnel's Nerd's Pipe Set from Daz - great for this type of effect.
Animation of surfaces is a built-in feature for both Poser and Carrara :)
