This video made me cry a year ago when I found it, and it even makes me cry right now. Such a marvelous book, with the power to invoke disturbing feelings inside ourselves, even when we saw nothing but images and names floating with a beautiful song in the background. Great job, mister. Aim for the extended version with all the characters and theirs magic finger of solitude. Would love to see Rebeca eating mud and Amaranta knitting her own shroud. Well done. The book was mesmorizing. I feel compelled to be poetic when saying the following, but I don't have the time to sulpt the words with the care that they require: The passages in "One Hundred Years of Solitude" about Remedios the Beauty (as well as the love between Meme and Mauricio Babilonia) where absolutley beautiful. I actually had to lower the book to my lap, look away, and take a deep breath and times so as not to be overwhelmed by teh sheer poetry and passion of the writing.

Excelent video, as Colombian I found this video very interesting and worth a using the name of Cien Años de Soledad. The only thing I don't like is the tango music, it's like using a celtic song for a movie about american cowboys.

At the begining I thought it was going to count until 100, thinking that was the timeline of the "title", because the book never says that the events described were in a 100 years period. Aside from that, I loved the graphics chosen to represent the characters, really liked the music, the typeface used... It really gave me the sensation I was going to watch a blockbuster. Congrats!!
