An Ak-47 cannot kill a person without a person using it. You need to load it the magazine, seat it properly, rack the bolt, switch the safety off to fire and then you have to pull the trigger in order for it to be able to kill. (Still have to aim at something)

In England and Wales, gun related crimes had went from 13,874 in 1998 to 24,070 in 2002. Since 1998-2006 the number of people injured by firearms increased by 110 percent from 2,378 in 1998 to 5,001 in 2006.
In late 2009 the Telegraph reported that gun crime had at least doubled in the past 10 years.

@morklind I just want to clarify this-Yes if a stranger found their way to my house I would have a gun in hand. You see not everyone lives in apartments and subdivisions. My nearest neighbor is 2 miles away, the sheriff is 25 miles away. I have private property signs 200 yards up the road. So by the time unwelcome people reach my house they are already breaking the law. Typically if a person trespasses they are looking for trouble, so I act accordingly. I don't see how that is so unhealthy.

In WW2 the combined US, British, Australian, Canadian and British empire forces attacked the German forces in France and Berlin. The British had already stopped an invasion from the Germans with the RAF, where the Americans were nowhere to be seen. Every country mentioned aboved liberated the occupied countries. At the time everyone invaded from the land Britian controlled there was not much threat at all to Britain.

An Ak-47 cannot kill a person without a person using it. You need to load it the magazine, seat it properly, rack the bolt, switch the safety off to fire and then you have to pull the trigger in order for it to be able to kill. (Still have to aim at something)
The machine cannot do any of this if there isn't a person behind it. Guns don't kill people, people do.

In England and Wales, gun related crimes had went from 13,874 in 1998 to 24,070 in 2002. Since 1998-2006 the number of people injured by firearms increased by 110 percent from 2,378 in 1998 to 5,001 in 2006.
In late 2009 the Telegraph reported that gun crime had at least doubled in the past 10 years.

I have had MANY Brits who have thanked me for the US "saving them during WW II." The last one was in Kent, in '06 on my last trip, and he was younger than my son, who is 36!!!! Dogs are used to hunt Fox's NOT GUN's!! so this video is so misleading in showing images of the country side alliance who were marching against the ban on using dogs for hunting. I pretty certain that the majority of people marching do not want more guns and I'm sure that licensed hunter can be used guns legally for hunting.

@nktank84 Actually Fox Hunting in the UK the dogs hunt/chase the fox and kill it by ripping it to shreds, no gun required. This type of hunting goes back to thousands of years (pre -gun) please google fox hunting or look at wikipedia. These people protesting in the video are not pro gun they are pro Fox Hunting. Shooting foxes is not banned in the UK and farmers do it for pest control. Guns are not the issue here, people are arguing about a keeping a tradition verses animal cruelty.

My problem is with this video making out that these people have had guns taken off of them, all they are protesting about is the banning of traditional hunt practice that involves no guns, just horses and dogs. The British public never really had guns and generally have no taste for them. I would not be a fool not be scared of something made to kill? If you want guns in the US fine.

If gun bans work the murder rate would obviously be much lower. But, crime is highest where gun ownership is the most restricted and much lower in states that have C.C. Guns are like drugs people who want them (criminals) are gonna get them nomatter what laws you pass.

My dad was a workaholic and showed his love through gifts at christmas. Every gun I own was a gift given as a token of love from father to son. So every time I pick up a gun I get to relive christmas and all the memories. We are niether criminals or psycho's, we simply hunt and shoot for fun. I don't get whats so evil about it? @morklind I just want to clarify this-Yes if a stranger found their way to my house I would have a gun in hand. You see not everyone lives in apartments and subdivisions. My nearest neighbor is 2 miles away, the sheriff is 25 miles away. I have private property signs 200 yards up the road. So by the time unwelcome people reach my house they are already breaking the law. Typically if a person trespasses they are looking for trouble, so I act accordingly. I don't see how that is so unhealthy.

They had full support of the French, Portugese and Prussian governments, who gifted them weapons and soldiers. This was all while one of the smallest armies in the world were fighting elsewhere against the French.

In WW2 the combined US, British, Australian, Canadian and British empire forces attacked the German forces in France and Berlin. The British had already stopped an invasion from the Germans with the RAF, where the Americans were nowhere to be seen. Every country mentioned aboved liberated the occupied countries. At the time everyone invaded from the land Britian controlled there was not much threat at all to Britain.
I also don't like the way you use "we" as if you were there..

Washington DC's murder rate is 49.15 per 100,000, compared to London's 2.9 . The difference is, the government can protect the people in the UK, whereas in the US they leave you to shoot yourselves. In a way it's Europe's fault. We supply the guns, you shoot each other with them.
