Lora you have the sweetest disposition. You can just tell you ar a great mother just by the way you talk to your kids. It shows by how happy they are. I've never seen them do anything but laugh and smile.Truely the modern day Mother Teresa!

Thats a great ideal to wait. We have 2 dogs and with a 10 month old, its a lot of work! I would HIGHLY recommend a boxer or boxer mix... best dogs with kids... oh wait!! didnt you have one before? So you know how great they are.

@jsandlin08 You're too nice!! Thank you so much :o) i agree, boxers are great dogs! They are awesome with kids! But yes, we used to have a boxer, and as much as we loved him to death, he was too much for us!! He was SO crazy hyper and all over the place. We didn't have the time back then (both working full time) to get him trained and work with him enough. He just didn;t know what to do with all that energy!

@XxTheSeguraFamilyxX Haha I posted on Facebook about a month or so ago when I got my new scale! I broke down and got one and put it in front of the fridge, to stop me from snacking lol! Really works too! It's helped me lose 8 more pounds!

@EverlyJoyFan91 Yes, they used to have dobermans. But she's going thru a divorce and they gave the dogs to some family members who really wanted them! They were out-door dogs though and lyzzie really wanted a snuggly, sweet, indoor dog! And she wanted to rescue one.

Layton should check out Survivorman if he hasn't already. It's just Man VS Wild, on Survivorman he doesn't have a film crew or anybody else with him so he has to do all the filming by himself. It's pretty crazy! Not sure what channel it comes on though.

My childhood dog was an Olde English Sheep Dog crossed with a Collie with one blue eye and one brown eye called Blue! How weird! He was gorgeous, I miss him, Luke and I now have a Rough Collie crossed with a Huskie and he's scrummy.. You're boys are getting soo big! It's mad x
