Worldwide, 3 in every 3 males will most certainly be a victim of violence, yet they cannot moan about it since they'd get bullied and deemed as a coward.
Wensday sings her butt off.... passionate delivery and stunning voice. That's Dick Wagner onstage playing guitar with Wensday at Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding.... Dick and Alice Cooper co-wrote the song. The beautiful blond woman featured around 4:13 is Lana Clarkson (Phil Spector is serving life in jail for murdering Lana.) To the loving memory of Lana Clarkson, who embodied the very essence of sunshine and love.
i hate this song. it plays into the idea that men have power over us, that were the victims and u should feel sorry for us. but there is no such thing as the weaker sex, and we need to be strong. were not strong because were women, were strong because of the content of our character, the force of our will, the power of our intellect and the capacity of our hearts. i know weak women, i know weak men, but i know strong wome and i know strong men. gender has nothing t do with it.
this is a song from a woman's perspective. and if you want evidence, google the statistics on violence against women. women do bleed in the hands of the one they love. they even die. all over the world.
this song is so true i was married for 14 years and my husband beat me i finally got the strength to leave and never been more happier now a man that beats on a woman is a coward in my book thank you for posting this song i love it
Possibly THE best cover version of a song that is so misunderstood. Wensday brings to light a major problem around the world and everyone on YouTube should share this video to all their friends....
I Love, Cherish, Protect. I will continue to Love, Cherish and Protect to my very Last Breath. Thank you Wensday and Desert Dreams for producing this important document. I will get the message out to as many as possible. With Much Love, Hope and RESPECT, RG

Sorry to burst your feminist bubble, but the facts and figures presented here do not stand up to the empirical research.
the only studies to support this are NOW funded advocacy studies, done only using women already in shelters.
every independent, university, and Governmental study over the last 20 years shows women are just as abusive as men, it's just that men are given no legal protection, and have no place to go to report abuse.
Wow!! Your message is as stellar as your amazing voice!! Thank you Wensday for using your immese gift of voice to make a difference in the world as well! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Patti
This is by far the most powerful video I have seen on YouTube or any other media site. We do need to take care of each other whether women or men, because one without the other - we cannot survive. Thank you Wensday for the performance and the message!
Awesome, awesome message! I am a survivor of many years of abuse, now living an empowered and powerful life of love and joy. It makes my spirit soar to hear and see a message like this, that is meant to help women to know they can make a different choice - to live a life of hope and joy and love. Patterns CAN be broken!
My life includes founding a shelter for women and their children who experienced domestic violence. I have seen the wounds, the bruises, the holes from bullets, and the insanity that surrounds this tragic behavior. Again I see these pictures and my own flash backs come to mind.
I encourage everyone who sees this excellent video to pass it on to EVERYONE they know.
I comment Dick Wagner and Wensday for the 3rd verse which adds breadth to this great song song.
It makes you wonder why we allow men to roam free. Sherri Tepper wrote an alternative in Womans Gate. I don't know if that is the solution but I think having boys grow up without male influence might be.

The prior post was deeply philosophic, very succinct and incredibly thought-provoking. Thoughts such as "Gabby needs to get a new girlfriend".

Myth of Male Power
Wimmin at best are men devoid of reason and accountability.
North American culture especially breeds wimmin to hate men and use them as 'stupid tools'. Males have been dehumanized into a disposable tool.
To condemn is to become that which one condemns. Wimmin only ever condemn all that is male.
To be tooled into a part of industry/war is the real rape and slaughter.

btw, it was both Dick Wagner and Alice Cooper who wrote this song. Both are male, I believe... :o)

This is such a brilliant video...
I can't decide which is more powerful, the important message or these stellar performances.
This extraordinary message should be played at some point every year at every junior high school in the world.
The impact would truly be universal...
