  • When I watched this I always thought it was amusing that the Narn security officers just charged ahead while Garibaldi wanted to hold behind cover. Wasn't that clever.

  • @umjackd The Narn probably thought that having a bunch of dead Narn who died to protect Babylon 5 would help to cement the station's support for Narn independence. They put their people above their own lives.

  • @superfuntime777 Bodies happen anyway in battle. But it's likely you're right. They did get all souped up on G'Kar's philosophy of sacrifice.

  • Damn I miss B5!

  • Man why did they have to remove this show from Netflix!?

  • *fantastic (took 3 tries to type that)

  • I'm surprised that Delenn's fantesticle speech was cut from this lovely montage. It was always one of the highlights of this episode.

  • To the commenter who asked if this was before or after 9/11, it was before.

  • was this before or after 9/11?

  • @WehateAlexJones Before... Interesting story telling is it not..?

  • @nardigan thanks.oh...man...and holograms.

  • Hugo i went to school with a Hugo what nut he was tryed to kill me and mom cuben

fag i hope he get ungbong to death that ass rape

  • Most epic sci fi show ever.

  • My favorite part of that episode was when Delenn came out of the jump gate with the cruisers behind her ship.

  • I remember when the show first came out, we had never seen a TV series with such cool space battles, it seemed amazing at the time.

  • 5 people valued their lives, and went somewhere else! :P

  • Nice tribute, I love the music but for those who also saw BSG i bet i wasn't the only one thinking of Cain asking Adama why he was launching vipers around the 1:50 mark

  • Still my fave show ever.

  • If only there were real people like these, with the strength of character and will to fight against greed and evil then our world wouldn't be in the shape it is in, now.

  • still its the best acting and story ever!

Wish in syria the government ppl would watch this!

  • @t0nes08 What???? It matches well considering he reached back 15 years to synchronize it with Babylon 5.

Plus if you watch B5 you realize so many of the SciFi shows that rose later, even video games, took HEAVY notes from this show.

    Including Star Trek DS9.

  • @SabreUnit

JMS pitched the show to DS9's parent company and was turned down. Then lo and behold DS9 appears with huge similarities to B5. me wonders.....

  • @starofsanity Fascists don't like competition.

  • @t0nes08 I'm sure you meant to say BSG music WIN.

  • For a station of peace, the sure were at war a lot.

  • @keepinlow: watch the first season and most of the second: it was a time of peace. The shit doesn't hit the fan until the end of the second season.

  • @keepinlow Most times maintaining peace means using equal force to do so. Otherwise, peace is taken from you.

  • @keepinlow Let him who desires peace prepare for war.

  • @keepinlow Te Babylon Project was created to bring peace

    .

It failed. (opening monologue for season 3)

  • I really wish they'd make a Babylon 5 Risk game.

  • @gasdfw5: Voices of Authority season 3 where Ivanova goes into the Great Machine...

  • i miss babilon 5

  • the music ... **almost** works... but thats about it.

  • BSG Civil War FAIL

  • I don't remember the Pegasus and Galactica ever firing a shot at each other, including the vipers. Babylon 5 on the other hand...well watch the video.

  • 3 people seem to be on clarks side.

  • @t0nes08 what are you talking about this is probably the best bsg music ever apart from the colonial anthem (so far as ive saw)

  • i didnt wait until the end to look for the full music version

  • 1080p? ...Babylon 5 never will be released even in 720

  • @sparrowlt Babylon 5 doesn't need to be released in a 720 or 1080 resolution. It was ORIGINAL FILMED in high def back in the '90's. JMS, the shows creator, knew that the technology was quickly coming for HD tv and planed accordingly.

  • @pacetti07 Yeah, but what use is that when CGI scenes and composites scenes (life actors in CGI backgrounds or with CGI in the background) were filmed in low res?

  • @sparrowlt If you are watching B5 on an older tv, and not a newer flat screen model with a HD capable DVD player, then everything will look like it was filmed in low red. I have a 32 inch HD flat screen with a HD Blue-Ray player, and you would not believe how much more incredible the episodes look. JMS filmed all the scenes of B5 in HD for when the tech would be avaiable. However, it was still able to be show on standard resolution tv's of the time.

  • @pacetti07 Unfortunately he also assumed that rerendering the CGI effects in a higher resolution would be trivially easy by the time HDTV became widely available, not to mention the loss of the original meshes. To release it in 1080p resolution they would have to recreate the CGI from scratch.

  • Shouldn't have used that music.

  • Not bad. Not bad at all.
