Now, now, they're not abusive ^^' In the manga, Rukia only hits him when he either really deserves it--and trust me, there are times he does XD--or when he's in one of his slumps. Ichigo admitted himself that him being hit is what brings him back from his emo-ness. Besides, she only hits him, what? 3 or 5 times at most during those whole 400 chapters so far. That's not a lot, especially compared to alot of other abusive couples out there.
