@krozer05 I view this song as meaning this: As sand, you don't have to worry about change and nothing is different. But when sand gets wet, it can't be as free as it was, can't flow in the wind, it has to be strong and stand together, or it will fall apart. Thats how I get it anyways.

I am a massive chili peppers fan, so I might be slightly biased here, but I think all their songs, hard or soft, are great in their own ways. I can never get tired of listening to them cause not only is their music great but it transcends so many genres. I will say the softer stuff is more emotional and has a ton of feeling in it. I just love it all haha.
