Ted Cassidy was possibly the most amazing man to have ever existed. He was absolutely the most attractive man I have ever seen, not to mention he was a complete genius. He was just too much for this world...

When I was little, I went with my dad while he was shopping for a suit. The salesman reminded me a lot of lurch. Practically the only thing he'd say was "that is correct" in that low voice to every question he was asked. When my dad said he wore long underwear under suit pants, he made that disgusted groan like lurch too. My dad left exasperated because he felt that guy was watching him too close.
