Actually, from my viewpoint, the main change they're aiming for is smaller government. Now I agree with you, Republicans have wanted to keep things the same, but that's because throughout history, government has been fairly small, and that's one of the bases for the Republican party, keeping governemnt small. Present day comes though, and government has gotten pretty big, I guess the party is more focused on changing the government's size...but not much else.

Obama says that we haven't been putting enough effort in getting Osama bin Laden, so he would pull our troops out of Iraq-and not immediately like he was saying at the start-and move them all to Afghanistan.
