  • I have found it useful, in the past forty years, to put rags into anything small parts, like screws, can fall into. Just as you disconnected the battery to prevent shorting stuff rags into the intake or any place else a screw could drop into. And I mean anyplace. Some intakes have a verticule pipe that a screw can fall into. They are about three quarters of an inch across. You will feel so stupid if you drop a screw into one of those. Remember if it can happen it one day will happen.

  • mandilore, the computer resets when you disconnect the battery which is the first thing he did, you don't need to do anything else.

  • If I'm not mistaken, aren't you supposed to restart the computer and clear the codes after you install the MAP sensor to make it work correctly?
