Please don't mistake 403 likes because we the LFN Fans liked the way this show ended. We don't. Those 403 likes is for the show and Peta and Roy and the rest of the cast, but not for how it ended.
Great show, shame about the cancellation orders and a "relatively" weak season 5. Oh and by the way, I like "Nikita's" Nikita a lot, but she doesn't hold a candle to Peta, "LFN" is truly awesome. Oh and this is coming from a HUGE Alias fan! :D
So, I first watched "Nikita" Season 1 and caught up with season 2. I like the show and characters so I thought, hell, while I'm waiting for the mid season break to be over, why not watch "LFN". I have to say, that for the moment and the stage that "Nikita" is at, "LFN" is a better show and the depth f it's characters, enormous.
@G4L4CTUS well i agree. maggie q does a fantastic job as nikita but peta is just stunning. the real thing about LFN is that it had a much smaller budget, especially in the beginning so they relied heavily on plot and character development than action. also the shows are very different too. in new nikita, she is almost a legend, in LFN we watch nikita grow and develop from homeless to super assassin, but with compassion
The part where her father conned her into taking over for him. She owes him nothing. If I had been Nikita I would have gone along with his deal, then after Michael and Adam were safely away I would have faked my death on a Mission and met up with Michael and Adam. Her Father used her from the very beginning. She owes him nothing.
I feel since the Nikita in this show was an innocent and not a criminal and had a miserable life on the street, she deserves to escape Section One with the help of Michael and the two of them deserve to live the rest of their lives together. Maybe not the picket fence and or the Mini Van, but together away from Section One and all the danger. And if anyone says that they can't do it, don't know Michael.
As hauntingly sad the ending is, think people, it could have been much, much worse. This was Section One and LFN we were talking about. S5 finale came from writers and producers who gave us Abort, Fail, Retry, Terminate. THEY WERE NOT AFRAID TO KILL OFF A BELOVED CHARACTER. As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy it ended this way (with hope for the future) than killing Michael or Nik off. Plus it was a better ending than S4 leaving Michael to think Nik didn't love him. At least we have hope and fic

The problem I have with the new one is that supposedly it's set around Season 2 of LFN, the original tv series, and if that's true, then everything should be the same, names, titles, the world they live in, and it's not. The whole series is set in US and it makes no sense. Tptb shouldn't have said it was a continuation of LFN. It's obviously not. I watched several eps, can't get into the series.

We're getting OLD peoples! haha When this came out I was 10. I used to wake up at 4am to watch it and now i'm watching it again after 14 years and I feel the same! they so connected and at the same time not. One of my favorite couples on tv.

No. No movie. No reunion. LFN was as a product of the times. A pre-9/11 world where terrorists were thwarted with alternative music and lots of black leather, leaving the folks at Section One plenty of time to work on their angst. You can't recapture that, not in any credible way. Besides, Joel Surnow has 8 seasons of 24 under his belt now. While I didn't mind seeing elements of LFN in 24, I don't think I'd want to see 24 in my LFN.
@cosmicinsight The most credible comment and very very true. The series is perfect because of its timing. (90's music/clothes/fashion, proper age of actors, everything) you cant recapture that. This is it my friends and over. Leave it alone and enjoy it as it is. When i saw this scene 10 years ago i cried and i was left to believe that my life whould now have to go on without them. I miss the show and I can't belive it has been 10 years. I can say in the 10 years no show has captured my heart like LFN. I truly wish for a movie with Peta and Roy joining forces to save the other. lol. I would definately pay to see their chemistry on screen again.

Loved this show. Nikita and Micheal relationship was so intense. I agree if it had a happy ending, it would not follow with the heart of the show. One thing they did that I absolutely love is that Micheal left a possibility that him and Nikita could be together when his sons older. Also the new remake of Nikita is good. It's storyline is new and refreshing. It actually is worth the chance. I watched it one day when I was bored then Bam I was hooked. Don't knock it till you try it.

La Femme Nikita is one of my all time favorite tv shows. The most interesting thing is that the series keep getting better and better with every new season. Peta Wilson did a brilliant job. She became one of my favorite actresses after this one.
It could have ended with up the rabbit hole. That fits section....they were together, but always looking over their shoulder. That would be my perfect ending.

After faithfully following this series from the beginning, I felt so cheated by the ending. WHERE'S THE HAPPY ENDING, DAMMIT!!!! Nikita gets to be stuck at section, no mother, no father, no fella 'cause he's done one with that rugrat....pfff. :'-(
And I'm a huge fan and I loved the way it ended. I would like them to be togehter, but if the ending was the happy one, it just wouldn't match the series, it would take this misterious and one of its kind aura away. Their promise to find each other when Michael's son is older was very moving.

I know there were/ are shows with more budgets,true,but the creativity and characters' treatment of LFN was unique and very intelligent.And the actors, superb! You can't recapture that, not in any credible way. Besides, Joel Surnow has 8 seasons of 24 under his belt now. While I didn't mind seeing elements of LFN in 24, I don't think I'd want to see 24 in my LFN.

This is it my friends and over. Leave it alone and enjoy it as it is. When i saw this scene 10 years ago i cried and i was left to believe that my life whould now have to go on without them. Fortunately we have our DVD's..

I miss the show and I can't belive it has been 10 years. I can say in the 10 years no show has captured my heart like LFN. I truly wish for a movie with Peta and Roy joining forces to save the other. lol. I would definately pay to see their chemistry on screen again.

And strangely enough I'm shipping Alex and Michael, tho I heard I shouldn't since she dies or something? There's nothing there for M&N. The plots are weak as hell and just weird... LFN is the standard. That's all I have to say.

But honestly now I don't like anyone at all. Alex turns from the amzing thing she is now to a pile of shit and honestly it would've been better if she died, to mourn her as she was in early s1 than to listen to her whine in s2, I've stopped watching it at this point. Just really blah about it all now. LFN will always be for me.

Loved this show. Nikita and Micheal relationship was so intense. I agree if it had a happy ending, it would not follow with the heart of the show. One thing they did that I absolutely love is that Micheal left a possibility that him and Nikita could be together when his sons older. Also the new remake of Nikita is good. It's storyline is new and refreshing. It actually is worth the chance. I watched it one day when I was bored then Bam I was hooked. Don't knock it till you try it.

The only differences I can see are that Paul Operations is 'Percy' (WTF such a stupid name) and Section One is 'Divison.' 'Nikita' is an EPIC FAIL. I will not watch. I caught a couple of clips on YT and their 'Mikita' (so lame) are unimaginative and paper thin, and see-through with NO DEPTH.

Nikita and Michael should of been together in the end that would have been a perfect happy ending they'd been through so much together and that scene with Nikita and Michael was the most emotional and heartbreaking endings to a great show LFN was an awesome show. CW's Nikita is shit and will never live up to this fantastic show I think the actress playng the new Nikita will never top Peta Wilson's brilliant role she played in LFN.

I can't say am happy with the ending. I thought that after all they went through they at least deserve to stay in each others lives. I totally blame USA network for this. @esha1210 no prob. they didnt separate bc they wanted to, they had to b/c otherwise section would have always gone after adam and michael. at the end nikita and michael separated and nikita became operactions, thats what mr. jones, nikita's dad wanted. if want to c the final 2 mins of the show just search for "final of LFN" here in youtube. and if u want to watch the whole series or the final season go to watchseries.eu

La Femme Nikita is one of my all time favorite tv shows. The most interesting thing is that the series keep getting better and better with every new season. Peta Wilson did a brilliant job. She became one of my favorite actresses after this one.

And I'm a huge fan and I loved the way it ended. I would like them to be togehter, but if the ending was the happy one, it just wouldn't match the series, it would take this misterious and one of its kind aura away. Their promise to find each other when Michael's son is older was very moving.

Perfect!! everything,the music, the actors, the idea, the hole scene is great! This show was amazing and It will be remembered and missed for ever bcause it was so different,original and well done. I know there were/ are shows with more budgets,true,but the creativity and characters' treatment of LFN was unique and very intelligent.And the actors, superb! Sometimes I can't believe this series was, already 10 years ago,bcause is so original even nowadays. 4 me LFN was ART not just good TV.
