  • Great sound, I have the 2007 with the big shots, I added the Hypo Charger and Fuel Ship. With both the bike has a deeper sound, I love the Meanie!!

  • What are the pipes called when u let of the throttle and they sound like their backfiring kind of. Like vrum...clack..clack...clack

  • Kawies are sounding nice ride bhard

  • Hello to the "Monkey" :)))

  • Hallo from Germany.

Cool Sound, nice bike. I have a 2004 silver Mean with the V&H classic II

  • dam that monkey is scarry you need some sort of cage man.

  • nice bike nice sound! but i had to go with the vtx 1800 cause they quit making the mean streak

  • Stock pipes suck period.

  • Very cool bike. Sounds great, too. I've got some V&H pipes on my HD Sportster, and after seeing this video I'm convinced V&H makes some of the best pipes out there for both metric and American bikes.

  • Did you add a PCIII or any other fuel control module when you added these. Wanting to know if i need to spend the extra 300 bucks just for them.

  • You do not need a PCI if you just change the pipes. however I did do it at the same time as I will be doing the air intake laterwhich does require a PCI. Also it does make the power delivery smoother.

  • the big shots look nice, I have an 03 1500 streak with the V&H straightshots and even though I installed the billet hot tips they still don't look as good as the big shots!

  • My husband has a 07 Mean Streak.. He has V&H pipes as well.. They sound a MILLION times better than the stock pipes.. The stock pipes sounded like someone taking a plastic bag and shaking it.. lol

  • HI there, do you remove the premuffler to use these pipes ?

Are there much "louder" than stock pipes..

  • You get rid of the "goats belly" under the swingarm and yes they are quite a bit louder than stock.

  • Warm them up with a hair dryer or a heat gun on a low setting, do not heat too much or they will melt. Then use fishing wire or a double thread of dental floss to slice through the glue at the back(what you are doing is warming the glue behind so ti can be removed. Any remaining glue on the tank roll off with your finger and also WD40 will help !!

  • I have the same bike with V&H long Shots. How did you remove your tank badges?
