This is the saddest music, I allways have heard. And every time I see this scene in the Movie, I will cry.

I hadn't watched the film for many years. I made the mistake of deciding to watch it the other morning when it was shown on TV.. having recently lost a beloved family pet, I bawled my eyes out at Atreyu's pleads X(

this music gives me the creeps....i dont like doldinger's version. i like moroder's version better. it's not so scary...it's more dramatic also.

i recently had a nightmare about my horse artax dying, and i woke up all sweaty and sobbing... (my horse is also called artax and he's even white). it was awful... T_T

it was always upsetting that scene, but you feel better at the end, when you see Atreyu and Artax reunited and all the other characters come back and you see Bastian and Falkor fly past.....

Poor Artax...I always loved that horse when I was little. Everytime the scene of his death played, with Atreyu trying to get him to move forward, I cried. And it still makes me cry. :'( I feel myself wanting to tear up just listening to this. I felt so sorry for Atreyu. He lost his best friend. D:

@mokechan At least its not as bad as in the book. In the film, Artax is revived. In the book, he never comes back.

Now that I hear this bgm it reminds me clearly . Of how I were sad when Artax dies in that swamp.
