Degrassi is about the high school, not the characters. They graduated, so therefore, are no longer about the school. If we were to follow the old cast, it wouldnt be called degrassi any longer. Not only that if the producers even wanted to follow the old cast, don't you think they would make a show called "Life after Degassi."
