  • I like watching the next lane over. Look how slow that bow is rolling. I think that must have been a 5 year old bowling next to you.

  • the only thing i can say is I'm not thrilled about your pushaway, its very forced, which causes the whole swing to be muscled, so if u smooth that up and free up your swing, we've got a monster on our hands bc the rest of your game is pretty solid

  • hmm not sure bout this vid, just inconsistant shots id say, other reviews r better but good effort

  • this guy should change his name to Mccanthitthesamebreakpointtwice

  • Well if I'm doing a review of a bowling ball it's best to show how it reacts from all different angles. That's why you'll see that I change hand positions, play outside, play inside, different speeds, different tilts etc. A good ball review will show what any type of bowler can do with a ball. Any real bowler looking for that information will find it very valuable.

  • @mcslug The only problem with what you said is, you didn't change anything. Your axis tilt stayed the same the whole time. Speed may have changed a little. But that is about it. And throwing the ball to the outside of the lane does not mean your playing outside. It means your swinging to the outside. Playing outside means, you stand right of at least 15. According to the video, you never miss. That must mean you have excellent speed control. Especially since you moved all over the place.

  • @revbutterball

If you review the hand positions you'll see that my axis tilt does change, check out the relase at :56 1:36 1:45 and 1:52 There are speed and axis tilt changes to adjust for the volume in the middle of the lane. As for not playing outside, there are a few shots straight up 7 in this video, but due to the nature of a house shot a true outside 5 shot like Cheetah really wasn't worth showing as it did nothing to show how this ball can react. Thanks for the comment!

  • @mcslug Your kidding right. I don't think you quite understand axis tilt. And I did not see a single shot go straight up 7. And if you could change your axis tilt, you would be able to play up 5, you would just get a different reaction and roll. But I don't think you know what straight up means anyways. But thats okay. You do what you do well, and you probably give anyone a run for their money on a house shot. Keep practicing. You'll get there.

  • @revbutterball

You're right, I play 7 to 5 at 1:12. That's way off straight up 7. And you're absolutely right, I have no idea how to play straight up the lanes, it's why my PBA cheetah average is only 215, because I have no idea how to play straight up the 1, 2, and 3 boards. pba.com/Tournaments/RegionalResult/2278 (Doug Scheidig) If you live anywhere near Pennsylvania I'd welcome you to come to a sport shot tournament, or a regional, and see if I can change my axis tilt.

  • @mcslug More like 8 to 6. But close enough. And just because its called the cheetah pattern, it does not mean your going to play up the boards, or outside of 5. Break point will probably be out there though. And at no time during your video did I see any change of your axis tilt. Their was excellent control of speed and reving the ball up a little more or less. And unfortunately I don't live anywhere near Pennsylvania. Or I would take you up on your offer. How many regionals have you cashed in?

  • @mcslug And just because you bowl one regional that had the cheetah pattern, doesn't really mean much. It's the highest scoring pattern, I would hope you could hit it. But that is good that your bowling tougher shots. Hopefully it will help you to learn different axis tilts. I bowled a regional for the first time in 5 years with the dick weber pattern and cashed. Weber pattern alot harder then cheetah. By the way, I'm not saying your bad. I'm just suggesting, learn to change your axis tilt.

  • @revbutterball Well you should work on your delivery because it sure sounds like you're attacking my game. I've bowled in 5 PBA regionals. You have my name so you can look it up on the site yourself. How about if you post a video of how you are able to change your axis tilt? I would find that very helpful and would work on including it in my game. I checked out your videos and noticed you don't have any playing outside of the 10-12 board at the arrows. A video straight up 1-5 would help

  • @mcslug lol. My wife says the same thing about my delivery. The videos I have on my bowling are just some random shots taking by a friend with a digital camera. There just some shots during league. Nothing special about them. I will try to see if I can get some clips of axis tilts for you. And some shots up the gutter for you too. A good drill is to put a 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square piece of white tape on your PAP.

  • @mcslug With the tape on your PAP, throw a regular shot. the tape off your hand obviously doesn't move until it flares. Now throw a shot with the tape completly faces you without it moving until it flares. And then have the tape completely on the left side of the ball, also without the tape moving until it flares. By the way the last one works really good on the Dick Weber pattern. Played outside of 5 with the Columbia Burst. Ball choice is key when using that particular axis tilt though.

  • what`s the name of the song ? it`s very nice

......and the ball looks pretty sharp with amazing carry too

    thanks

  • Nickelback- "Too Bad" -It was just played very fast
