  • That is awesome. Love the jam. You have a simular setup to me - albiet none of my stuff has mods ~ and i dont own a 808 :-(

I cant quite figure out how you have got the 808 trigger to make the 202 sound like that. Can you give me a clue? I'll try pausing and copying the settings. My videos are on my page if you want to check them out. all 101, 202, 303, and 606.

  • @twintron

the 202 was sequencing itself running off Din Sync supplied from a Kenton Pro2 Midi to CV unit. The grey plastic box with the 4 dip switches is modifying the Din clock on each even 16th note (i.e. step 2,4,6 etc) to give a swing effect. The swinging Din clock was also feeding the 808 and 606 as well as the 202. The 808 trig outs were syncing the 101's LFO (not actually visible in the video) and triggering the delay which I crank up towards the end of the vid...

  • @monkeyb0y999 Good one. Makes it sound really unique. I have a Kenton unit but I only really use it to sync logic to the 202.. Ace vid.

  • very cool jam.

  • why, isnt there a trigger out from the tr-505. like the tr-606,707 and so?

  • no, the 505 only has midi in/out

  • hi man greAT work and gear. do u know if i can sync my sh-101 with a rolan tr-505?
