Nice bike, almost got this for my son 8 months ago. Went with the XR-Comp instead. Just got the XR-Pro today. Can't find one vid that shows the XR-Comp so I might make one. BTW, Its nice to see how you appreciate what you have.

Just bought this bike. Yeah it's cheap and needs adjustments, but it's well worth the money, An all aluminum bike for $200. Very light and easy to pedal for tall people. If you can afford it get a better one but this is great for the rest of us. You just need to learn how to work on it and be ready and able to replace broken parts if they happen.

Disc brakes can be good if they are hydraulic, otherwise their are nothing special. Also you can buy a nice high end bike for a little bit more used. It may be a year or two old but the quality will be a 100 times better even if its older.

@ZachmanTheFisherman You can easily find an entry level bike shop bike for around 200 dollars. You get much better quality, speed, comfort, and the unparalleled service that a bike shop provides that no dept. store matches up to (free unlimited lifetime tuneups, discounted accessories and repairs..). Honestly, disc brakes on a bike under $500 is just extra maintenance. Cheap disc brakes break much more easily and usually work WORSE than cheap regular pull brakes.

Got this bike a month ago. not bad at all for 200.00 and a 29r rides solid. No problems so far, looking into upgrading front fork shocks and xtr shimano parts also rims. Took off stickers and decals and crappy kick stand. Rides good.

I had picked up a 29er Genesis but went to another walmart and see this sitting on a rack....swapped it out right away. For 200 bucks its a descent bike. Took off all the ugly decals. ... . .looks beautiful.

To those of you that actually have this bike, what problems have you experienced? For me the freewheel is loud when I am coasting. It is hard to explain, but it is not a grinding noise, but more of a quiet roar. Maybe I better get some video to explain, so look for it.

I'm sure the cheap disc brakes way better in the rain, or snow then any V-brakes would.

I have this bike, and truly love it. Only thing I do not like is the front fork.
