For example, the fact that protoss have 1 static defense that works both air and ground, I don't like. You are required to get a forge for it, which should make cannons anti air only, and allow a second ground only building for getting a gateway, just like the barracks/ pool are for sunkens / bunkers, and evo/engi are for AA.

@killa2318 yes. 1 probe can make a much larger difference in the early game than three seconds on a hatchery. in most cases the first base isnt saturated when the second comes up, so it's not like any drones are being wasted. The only benefit of an earlier hatch is being able to make more drones faster.

I don't watch sc2 very often, i don't even actively play it, but from what i understand, Idra is mainly good due to the hours he spends practicing playing and not necessarily because his smart and knowledgeable? From games i watch, casters constantly saying he makes mistakes and then ends up winning anyway. So sc2 benefits does who play a lot instead of does who are really good?

@Thane4 No, IdrA has superb knowledge and mechanics (like hand speed and hotkeying). He knows just about all the timings and strats for all races (watch him cast a couple of games). Idra just isn't a very creative player.. His weaknesses are: that he is often (not always) predictable (because he isn't creative) and breaks down when he gets a tad behind (where a player like BoXer continues to play harder to try and get back in the lead),

I hate zerg vs protoss. Queens stomp void rays, and idra had so many units, an expansion, and 20 extra drones by the end of the fight. Queens need to be either weaker at anti air, or more minerals. They are too fuckin beefy.
