  • oooooooooooooooo sexy lol just kidding Fuck Paris Dean was way better.

  • I love this video, thanks so much for posting it. I just really wish the sound quality was better. I love Britny Fox, there's a reason I own all four of their albums!

  • anyone notice those Marshall amps are not even powered on?..lol

  • His balls were overheating. So he has to lay them on the tile for a second.

My dog does the same thing.

  • God this band should have been bigger....much bigger.

  • everything that's over cliche about hair metal in one song

  • this kicks the Sh$t out of katy parry and that other lady ga ga horse-poop.. damn miss real music....

  • Yes, I know Roxy, I was referring to his two middle names.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude adelaidejetboy thanks so much for posting this. Where did you get it? I would love to own this video if at all possible.

  • cmon naw. its britny fox not britney spears u hear

  • Do you actually have the part of the interview?

I never actually heard any of the band members speak, and I'm curious on what they have to say. So can you please post it if you have it?

  • thats the EPIC move right there ha ha

  • I don't like Britny Fox 'cuz they used to think they were like Cinderella! But they were thousand times inferiors than Cinderella!

  • I'm just amazed that they are actually playing live on TV. Back then EVERYONE lip synced to the track. MTV must have had a heck of system or their roadies were (cue the 80's slang) WICKED!

  • Incredible.

  • ok... keeping the tempo would've been nice. apart from that it's cool, although I wouldn't have done the split twice.

  • they can play but they can player better if they stop dancing around like there in a girlschool ha

  • someone please tell me what bass he's using? its bitchin!

  • @xZiGGGY looks like a Jackson

  • why i think that this video was used for the video clip

  • man that split was badass,

not like david lee roth's, which look really girly and weird...

  • dizzy had the moves awesome vocals, they should get back together & tour Australia

  • As silly as they looked, they nailed that performance. High energy, showmanship, hit all the notes, good stuff.

  • Yeah, i love this voice!!

  • Whether you like them or not is entirely your opinion. Think about this real hard. There are a lot of garage bands out there, and they all dream of making it big. Very few get a big recording contract, and even fewer get a hit single or album. Britny Fox may have only had one big album, but they made a name for themselves and that matters if your a musician.

  • This put them on the map, but the "Bite Down Hard" album to me is one of the best hard rock albums ever. But no matter who the singer was, these guys weren't posers, they could play.

  • Bill Burr keeping this alive on his Monday Morning podcast...hilarious!

  • THIS GUY HAD AN AWSOME VOICE

  • Who cares who's ripping what N went together with them here or there. Get a Band together an see what you can do. If what U do rocks than you've passed the Bar, these guys did and still do---

  • thank god i have " sponge" panites on... LOL AHAHAHA dean davidson drives me WILD!!!!

  • go britny!..........................

  • choice.

  • simply great 80 s metal is the best ever fun fun and more fun yeahhh

  • The 90's was music for people who were happy to be defeated. The 00's or (the O'ked) might as well been a back alley coat hanger abortion.

  • No offense taken guys. Glad to hear your comments. Just remember, take away the hair, the makeup, the glam, the music is still there. 80's metal was all about hard driving rock and roll that keeps you going. 70's rock was more about showmanship. I love everything 60's, 70's,80's had to offer which were my most musical influences. In order to keep rock alive, which it very well still is, guitar riffs are most important.

  • This is all opinion. Think about it...what makes the 90's better than the 80's? OPINION. Technically, the 90's were music's weakest point and the 80's were one of music's strongest points from a technical, musical perspective. I respect your opinion and I know you're not alone, but most people watching this aren't going to see what you mean. Specifically, what was horrible about it? LOTS of people say the same about Cobain cause he couldn't play for shit.

  • @90zosoman09 piss off 80's ruled

  • You guys can bs all you want. All I gotta say is these guys were great, always put on a rocking great show in the Philly clubs. So sorry the music business reigned over all these types of bands back in the day and prevented them from going forward.

    Signed,

A Philly All Star Musician who is still active in the music business 20 years later and still can rock the crowds any style of music.

  • these guys rule ...long live rock n roll!!!

  • what the fuck he just did at 0:40

    awesome move

  • Yeah, it's hard enough to get down like that, but then he smoothly 'slid' back up in the same motion!

  • @adelaidejetboy ----and while playing a bad-ass sounding guitar and singing, whoa!!!!!!!!

  • the vocal have almostthesame lookinglike Tom Keifer (leader of Cinderella)

  • they are all good friends and all played at the same places...thats why dizzy dean sounds like tommy....i am good friends with all these guys......dean does a solo project now...its totally different then this....my brothers old band heavens edge,,britneyfox whitefox, ivory tower and cinderella and played and made it big out of south jersey and philly.....

  • Thats because they try to follow in Cinderellas footsteps with the sound and the look but failed..

  • awesome stuff. I agree, this is way better than the watered down bullshit like Nickelback, Theory, And Hinder. Those bands were away from the style one minute then the next minute, they're trying to be as cool as 80's hair metal. At least Hinder is closer than those other posers.

  • Great version. The drums are better than the studio cut.

  • I dont get why people argue who was this and that. All this type of music is great.

  • yo kiero hacer un split asi =)

  • Tom is a better guitarist and i might even go as far to say songwriter too. But Dean would rip his balls off at Vocals any day. And he can do it live. Dean Davidson is THE VOICE!! If you guys like this check out blackeyed susan he sang for them later on in like 91.

But I too like both bands, And whoever copied who had great tastes in music. If that even happened. I am friends with Billy in RL he is such a nice guy

  • I don't agree; I think Tom Keifer is best at vocals, he has more control over his vioce than Dean

  • cool shit!!!!!!

  • i think he was before tom keifer

  • amazing voice!!!dean where are you????we need you!!!!

  • He's gone "folk rock", some might call it "pussy rock", your pick

  • Why is he a Tom Kiefer wannabe? Just because they both have black hair, do that squeeky voice thingy, play guitar, look alike... uh oh

  • Great band,to bad the times changed.U.F.O. still is the best ......

  • They were a good band but man were they fruity looking, lol.

  • britny fox rulez

  • ovo je bas sranje

  • da dare kad bi te jos ljudi razumeli haha...

  • @darekralj ovo je nabolji hrvatski pjevac

  • the singer is every rock n roll cliche imaginable. in particular the singer wanted to be tom kiefer of cinderella. the split he does at 0:40 is awesome though!

  • i agree with u 100% a definite tom kiefer wanna be

  • You got a good point, especially when you read this taken from Wikipedia about Cinderella: "Cinderella was formed in Philadelphia in 1982 by singer-songwriter, keyboardist, and guitarist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham. The initial lineup also included guitarist Michael Smerick and drummer Tony Destra. In 1985, Smerick and Destra left to form Britny Fox, another Philadelphia-based glam metal band that later relocated to Los Angeles". I think both bands are great tough.

  • nope, Michael and Tony didnt leave. They got fired from Cinderella basically because the record company didnt want them. So Tom and Eric fired them but felt real bad so when Britny Fox joined, Tom and Eric helped them get a record deal.

  • this is fuckin great

    britny fox rocks matherfuckers

  • very underated band, awesome song, voice sounds great live too

  • fucking rocksss!!

  • Substance?? Who wants substance?? There are some of us out here who just want to rock. If I want to be reminded how shitty things are I turn on the news. By the way, Grohl was Nirvana. Cobain was a waste of space, a loser who had it all and left a child without a father. Don't make excuses for that either, if you can't handle it don't procreate!!! He was a selfish poser, at least Dizzy is still out there making music and being happy.

  • what the fucke ever any poser band back then is 5 million times a better band than any of the nickleback seether theroy of a deadman bullshit out there today

hearin that nickleshit makes me miss even the bands i fucking hated

like nelson i d rather have nelso trixter and all those candy asses back then hear a fuckin puddle of mudd peice of shit ever again

  • Ouch! Well said BG! This video actually sounds better live than the record did. Loud Marshalls go a long way in my book. Miss the days, must be getting old. Dizzy rocks, and love the Les Pauls going out of tune after not even one song of power chords!

  • dude, they focus WAY too much on their looks. and stage presence. just fucking play.

  • wow....calm down ladies. Cinderella hit it big first thanks to John Bon Jovi. However, both bands were kicking it at the same time locally throught Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey area. Reality of it is...one band splintered into anothe. So the influences, playing styles and images of what they wanted to become was identical. You can somewhat compare the situation with Metallica and Megadeth. One band split apart but with the same destination in mind. Thank you and....GOOD NIGHT! ROCK ON!!!!!!

  • Agree

  • Don't get carried away, dude. The Crue would be the first to admit they too were a poser band, but IMO they had the material to back it up. I really like all the bands you mentioned, but whether one is seen as simply a poser band and another is the 'real deal' is open to personal taste. Plenty of people thru the years have told me how crap ALL of these bands are. Personally, I like Britny Fox. One listen to the excellent 'Bite Down Hard' might change your mind about them being just a poser band.

  • if the crue said that theyd be lying. read the dirt or heroin diaries.

but i will have a listen to some more britny fox in any case.

  • They wore spandex, makeup, lipstick, satin tops, teased and sprayed their hair, pouted a lot and posed a lot onstage and off.........as did many other bands of the time, including Britny Fox. They were all posers and proud of it....it came with the territory. Image was the icing on the cake and they all played it up for all it was worth. It was about music, fun, dressing up & posing was a big part of that. No shame in that. I loved it!

I have The Dirt but haven't read the Heroin Diaries yet.

  • yeh but they originated that dude. they made glam metal. its like calling the ny dolls posers. no way man. and they where all out there. or like calling david bowie and alice cooper posers...

  • also, motley never really wrote songs like girlschool and rock n roll revolution. like all britny foxes songs are cliched phrases

  • great song , go dizzy, rocking down under Australia

  • I LOVE this song, and the lead singer has some realllllly niiiiiiice moves, but damn, he is so coping Tom Keifer of Cinderella. dude, get your own image.

  • idiot...Britny Fox was around, before Cinderella. Just Cinderella, made it to a bigger label befoe B.fox did. Ever think, Keifer is imitating Dizzy? Do your homework before spouting off!

  • did you know, that Britny was IN Cinderella? so yeah, um, you do YOUR homework, k? He was in Cinderella, then he left and made Britny Fox. Duh.

  • dipshit...for one,his name isnt BRITNY you simple fuck. His nae is Dean...and he was not in Cinderella...as I should know. I went to high school with all the guys in the band in Upper Darby,Pa. I just did studio work for Eric Brittingham's band "Naked Beggars"...so, go back to school before you spout off.

  • You know what, I'm not arguing anymore. I wasnt talking about the lead singer being in Cinderella, I knew he wasnt. Jeez. I still say they're coping Cinderella. Thats my opinon, so there. Take it as you wish. And as for the Naked Beggars, they totally rock.

  • doesnt matter who you were refering to. none of them held the name "Britny".

  • well, if it bothers that much, I'm sorry. I was referring to the two members who were in Cinderella, not 'Dizzy'(well ,thats his nickname....) Dean Davidson, if ya wanna be specific

  • Here we go...*sigh*...show me prrof that anyone from Britney Fox,was in the band Cinderella. I'm dying to see proof of this.

  • seriously? "Cinderella was formed in Philadelphia in 1982 by singer-songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham. The initial lineup also included guitarist Michael Smerick and drummer Tony Destra, who eventually left to form Britny Fox in 1985"

  • And you have proof of this? I didnt ask what your speculation was,I asked for proof. I've done some research and found nothing to back up what you claim.

  • well, I dont mean this in a sarcastic way, but cant you just ask Eric? I'm sure he'd answer if you asked nicely. Seriously....

I have a question for you. So, you went to school with the guys from Britny Fox? How do you think they formed and all that?

  • i went to school with the guys from Cinderella...

  • which ones? Cause they didnt all go to school together....

*sigh* I can imagine school with Tom Keifer walking around, how cute!!

  • Went to school with Tom. He was/is a cutie!

  • where did you go to school, you say you went to school with him, both bands had bands since the late seventies, and they are all friends, and played many shows together, get off tom keifers dick, hes a washed up junkie

  • @4chrissy Oh my god, you did?! You gotta tell me all about him! :D

  • Although they are similar in the fact that Dizzy's voice has that "Nazareth" quality as does Tom's. Their songs are miles apart. Although I love Britny Fox, I'd have to say that Cinderella is the premier band of the two (I even named my son after Tom...Anyway, Cinderella was a much stronger band musically.

  • you did? thats soooo cute!! just to clear things up, I wasnt saying that I dont liek Britny, I was just saying they sound similar to Cinderella. in my opinon, Cinderella has it all, and not just because they have bigger hits. They have the whole music thing going on.

And if you would still like to know, the drummer and guitarist were in Cinderella, before 'Night Songs'.

  • Yup I did...Kinda, Owen Thomas Keifer is his full name :P

  • @1killahead Uhm ,no? It's Carl Thomas Keifer.

  • @TomNikkiKeiferSixx cinderella only made it coz they had to blow Jon Bon Jovi off

  • @Bang4URBux haaa, right. they had the talent and were gonna make it no matter what. Jon just happened to get a producer to listen to them.

  • your an idiot, dean never stole his moves, more like tom jocked him

you can thank columbia and greedy bands mates for ruining this band

    go lecompt right

    haha

  • I dont even want to argue anymore!! How do you know Dean didnt steal from Tom?! BESIDES, I never said this wasn't a good preformance or anything. I was just speaking my opinon that I think Tom Keifer is talented and it LOOKS like Dean is coping him!

  • Guys!! The guitar player of Britny Fox Used to play with Cinderella before Cinderella was singned by a record company!! Dizzy Dean Davidson is not a copy of Tom Keifer If you guys know what Nazareth UDO from Accept and Brian Johson from Acdc are , you'll understand where these guys took the Influences, even Axl Rose took his vocal falseto tecnics from Nazareth, he said in one Interview that queen and Nazareth were his favorite bands! In my opinion Dizzy is better than Tom

  • かっこいいぜい!!

  • LUV IT...Awesome

  • amazing video. i love britny fox, and i am so happy i got to see this.

  • Awesome britny fox rocks
