It's nice of them to include a tool with the knife, but I think anyone buying knives at this level is pretty much guaranteed to already have a torx set.
Man, that solid "click" that opening/closing a knife makes when it has a titanium handle, imo can't be beat.
I just got my new Strider SMF, and in a couple of days I will be ordering one of these brand new, I have had one before but sold it and I really like them, you can send it back for free sharpening or any repairs.
@humans4targets2 I have never sent any of my Chris Reeve knives back, but I did hear the customer service is outstanding. Looking forward to that video from you.
hey cajunblaze, do u have any plans on trading or selling this knife?i really want to get a hold of this model. i have a small sebenza in african blackwood. email me if you want to chat. domoniccheung@gmail.com
Hey there mr cajunblaze, just wanted to let you know that I was finally able to get some sebes of my own. I owe it all to you, and thanks for the great reviews and advice. I did a quick video upload of it but not a review, since I havent' had them long enough. I just wanted to say a quick thanks.
I ordered mine right before it was discontinued in May '08. This is still my favorite Seb. I got mine with double gold thumbstuds and a two-tone blade. BTW, the 58-59 is a Rockwell hardness rating achieved by heat treating. That's a perfect hardness for S30V. Some tool steels or Japanese steels can be 60-64 because of different metal qualities.
This is no Classic, it is a regular.... Look at the handle, the opening for the thumbstud is different. The classic one has a more round opening than this flattenend one.
Also the blade is a bit different, but that's hard to see.
First get the facts straight, cause such mistakes can' be made!!
What they don't like are wrist flicks. These things are plenty tough, I used my 21 to cut through some drywall. I also used my SMF to punch through tile. Both performed very well and had no damage to the blades.
Thanks for the comment. It is very expensive for a pocket knife, but it's also nice to have one of my own. I like this knife. I bought the cold steel Hatomoto first. Didn't like it and then returned it for this knife. I have no regrets.
I WANT ONE

I like my subrosa better than my sebenza. It just feels better and it is a first production 1/1000. and it is spring assisted

its a shame the regular is discontinued. I dont like the aesthetics of the 21 or Umnum, so CR is unfortunately off my list :(
Hoping they re-release the regular version.

Just got my first CRK Sebenza 21 today. It is so cool, and worth every penny!
If you are thinking about getting one, and can afford it then I suggest that you do it!

hey cajunblaze, you like the profile of the regular or the 21 better?
SUFFOCATIONFAN 2 years ago
I prefer the Sebenza 21 better.

Also it's a FRAME lock not a liner lock.

Yeah, that was a slip of the tongue. I just didn't want to redo the video. Thanks for watching.

I have a small Seb but I prefer the blade shape of the large Seb.

Have you ever tried the Strider SNG
Between the two "semi custom" knives SNG and CRK which one do you think can be used harder?
The term "semi custom refers to a knife that is made using both custom and production techniques where multiple knives are made in limited numbers"

We know what the knife is. Some people don't know how CRK's warranty works.
PulletSurprise 2 years ago
Didn't know you were referring to warranty.
turbo311 2 years ago
That's quite alright.
Glad we were able to clear things up without any internet drama. :)
