so i've been told, but he's still supposed to be representative of the dwarf melee dps class they stole from us imo. Just as the orc he's fighting is a black orc in that cinematic.

The slayer and the hammerer are quite different. Slayers are fierce berserkers without armour that specialises in killing large monsters such as trolls and dragons. Hammerers, just like Ironbreakers and Grudgebearers, is just another dwarven clan which they made into a career in the online game. Slayers are very iconic troops for the dwarf army in the tabletop game. They probably would have been a career if lit weren't for lore reasons. I guess Mythic didn't want a melee career with no armour.

But it's a Shame that WH:O is Almost exactly like WoW, just different area and character names and those kind of things.
