  • Great Shot!

  • could someone explain how such a small arrow kills such a large animal? I don't really get it :P

  • You killed bambi

  • That looks like a 50 pound draw back get a 100 pound draw back you wont miss

  • To everyone criticizing the mentality of hunters: There is nothing wrong with getting excited on a hunt - that's natural. Also, killing with rifles and bows, is the most humane kill to the natural world - because natural killing methods are bloody and awful.

Cats regularly bring home animals alive, play with them until the prey just can't go on and they leave the body. In England, it is now illegal to hunt foxes using Hounds. Because dogs do it a lot bloodier than we do.

  • nice compound bow

  • u just missed should of used rifle

  • @crazydude7749 With big animals like these? Rifles just aren't as a efficient. My Canadian friend says the arrows they use have a razor-sharp head (literally like three surgical blades back to back). The arrow goes right in the deer, and he barely notices! He'll carry on grazing like nothing happened.

Then as he walks around, the arrow does more and more damage and eventually he drops. Painful I know, but unless you had a Barret .50, it's the least painful way to take them.

  • i think hunting is okay as long it serves the purpose of getting something betweek your teeth... and to serve that purpose i'm okay with killing off 99.9% of the human population, and see what we can do afterwards.

  • Beautiful animal, I'll kill it.

  • nice shot mate, me and my dad is going to hunt in like 6 days or something, we aint hunting with a bow tho, we are hunting with a rifle. the worst part of hunting is when u shoot an animal u have to take it back to the car :/ but happy hunting mate!

  • @MyPromp see for me the worst part of hunting is tracking im horrible at it and it takes me hours to find a deer dead 200yards away lmao

  • Damn man that first shot was not even CLOSE!!!! come on bro....

  • To find killing to be an "excitement" is how serial killers of humans found it to be the same feeling. That is why sports hunters are psychopaths and their soul are reserved for hell!

  • nice job guys, but why dont you come to oregon and hunt with out a guide and on public land and then we will see what your made of...and there is no music in real hunting...all my budys and everyone of theyre budys hate music on videos this isnt hollywood..thats why i like primos

  • wow the first shot was at like 60 yards so congrates bc you almost hit him and this is my first year hunting with a bow im excited

  • HO HO, ME KILL BIG AMINAL WITH LONG STEECK AN STRING!!! JK..THAT WAS AMAZING!!!

  • nice video you should check out the roosevelt elk in oregon if you want a challenge

  • Awesome video! You should upload it to my hunting tube .com let more hunters watch it.

  • Great hunt! Elk meat is the best of all wild game, if you ask me. Thanks for posting. Keep the hunt alive.

  • Nice bull. Congratulations. I think if the celaphane wrapped meat eaters who protest hunting ever actually visited a slaughterhouse they'd realize animal suffering is a domestic tragedy compared to hunting. You would not want to live like cattle. Likewise, the alternative for these elk is to be eaten alive by wolves & lions or from starvation. Nothing wrong with hunting when ya look at the alternatives.

  • pitifull...

  • All videos are being used as we speak and more and more people are getting so disgusted of how heartless you can be to leave an animals to "layup and die".

  • @starrynight4820 you know what, if you have never been hunting or your family doesn't have a tradition of hunting then you shouldn't think that every hunter out there is a cold hearted killer.. because we who hunt are accually the ones that loves the animals most.. we hunt for the exitment that is to go in to the forest and be 1 with the nature and the expirience is just awesome

  • There is no wrong in hunting, it's the circle of life. If you're worried about killing things, stop breathing. You kill millions of microscopic germs and cells when you inhale and exhale. So there!

  • Hey jackass aka Jeremy. Lumenocks are illegal in CO. Next time you come hunting in our state, whether you're hunting on a ranch or not, read the regulations book. Elk hunting 101 when you go NON-resident.

  • @comoore1 ....cause seeing where your arrow went is a bad thing? Stupid rules are made to be broken!

  • If he had a hoyt he would have had him down the first time. hahahahahaha.

  • great clip

  • Great shot well done!

  • yeah, unfortunately its even more cruel than hunting with a gun. about half of all animals shot with arrows run away from the hunter and die a slow agonizing death. you call THAT SPORt?

  • really?where did you find that statement?

  • @dancingcottontails YEP....!!! Proper hunting as it has been done for ages

  • @dancingcottontails ur a fag go hump a tree

  • LOL! this loser probably thinks this selfish act of cruelty makes him some kind of big man. LOL what a LOSER he really is. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @dancingcottontails at least he didnt use a gun. bow hunting has been around since your ancestors climbed trees.

  • @dancingcottontails HE IS A GOD AMONGST MEN

  • What kind of bow do you use?

  • what kind of death does DeliberateCruelty think animals in the wild undergo in the wild? there are not animal hospitals and old elk homes for them to live in, get their daily meds, and slip gently away. In the wild they die by freezing, starvation, desease, or predation! by comparison an arrow or bullet is pretty humane! And unless he lives in a home built where no animals would want to live he is a hypocrite!

  • too much talk so little action. thumbs down

  • illuminocks are illegal in Colorado

  • what kind of distance is that first shot? looks like >50 meters

kinda silly to shoot at such a distance

  • Proof that what ARA and anti-hunters been saying that you have to wait for the deer to die at least 30-45 minutes so that "30 second" death that you all speak of is a damn lie.

  • @DeliberateCruelty - Like us Sportsmen are gonna listen to some whiny little girl...!!! Shut your pie hole honey... You don't know what you're talking about.

What archer says they die in 30 seconds? You're stupid. Sometimes you have to wait it out for a couple hours so that they bleed out. The last thing you want to happen is to walk up on a dying animal, have it take off leaving no blood trail, and then you can't even track it...

  • @DeliberateCruelty What a damn fool. You are just like half of the jackasses here on youtube. Ya go around watching videos you dont like and leave know nothing or nasty comments about them. What a jackass

  • @DeliberateCruelty well when I shoot them with my rifle they die in about 10 seconds but a bow takes longer. However its harder to hunt with a bow than a rifle so really you should not complain.

  • @viper10011 i use both!

  • @DeliberateCruelty Your right, animals must maul and rip each others flesh off so politely when they hunt each other.

  • @sammytav Last I know wild animals hunt for survival all of you psychopaths kill for sports and trophy by the millions leaving many wounded and crippled. Lets me know when carnivores let the animals "lay up and die" or leave animals wounded and crippled that way you psychopath monsters do.

  • @starrynight4820 Responsible hunters in the United States eat their kills. Thats why you have so much ignorant hate. You have no idea whats going on. And by the way, I've only been hunting a couple of times and guess what!? We had lots of food. I guess you like your slaughterhouse.

  • @starrynight4820 I don't hunt for sport or trophy. I hunt to kill invasive species that damage our ecosystem. I kill pigs every chance I get because they destroy native flora and fauna. If you weren't so utterly stupid, and blinded by your hate and delusion, you might know that.

Also, are you a vegetarian? Farms represent destroyed habitat and millions of dead animals, and the farmers kill animals that eat their crops. So you pay others to kill for you.

    Moron.

  • @USSBN734 Really? I have seen some of your Elk murdering video where you left the elk to die for couple hours. I wonder how you like to die that way? There are IC wildlife contraceptive for pigs but the DNR won't go for that because they want the money and the NRA want to continue selling their weapons. I can't wait till all of you psychopath demons of the earth heads straight to the pits of hell. Excuses, excuses that is all your kind is all about. I know more then you think you scumbag!

  • @starrynight4820 "I know more" Ok. Lets evaluate:

"Elk murdering" Strike 1. You cannot murder an Elk.

"contraceptive" Strike 2. You admit there is a problem, you'd rather stand aside & let native species die, than use an inexpensive, effective and permanent solution. How often must the same pigs be dosed? Cost per dose & how to deliver? Pigs still destroying native species while alive.

"psychopath demons" Strike 3. Resort to ad-hominem in the absence of an intelligent argument.

  • @DeliberateCruelty that bull probably died with little pain, since his elk brain was probably flooded with DMT after the hit.

  • Welcome to hunting outside box blinds! When you get to a spot range different rocks, trees & bushes & grass clumps etc. So when he walks by them you know the range within a yard or 2.

  • i know jeremy he runs a bow shop here in valdosta i buy all my equipment from him this is a pretty good vid

  • ya way to fast but good hunt

  • That first shot was way to far man!

    I'm glad you missed.

The rest of the video was outstanding. NIce job guys!

    UbuntoO

  • @UbuntoO more then 20 yards and its a bit un ethical

  • Nice shot. Good thing you missed that rag horn bull in hindsight.

  • awesome

  • what are you stupid

  • Comment removed

  • I dont have audio at work but it looked to me 55 yards or so, im glad he didnt hit that animal, that would not have been a kill shot It would have ran, he would try to track it and drive it further away, eventually it would die and that meat would go to waste.

  • 12131ALLDAY.....that Prozac isn't getting it for you, or your jealous.

  • nah your right im jealous

  • so your going to jump on a huge bull elk? haha your a dumbass

  • cute scarf 3:45

    nice video, make more!

  • great shot

    incredible hunt

    thanks!

  • im thinking about getting a bow to do some elk hunting next year on the olympic puninsula, wat kind of bow do you recomend?

  • Depends. I shoot a PSE Baby G Force. It's an older bow, about 15 years old, but it shoots fast, straight, and you can pick em up on ebay for under $100 (brand new they were around 800). That's if you're on a budget. If you have money to spend, Mathews, High Country, and Hoyt have some good bows out right now.

  • ur living the life man im so jealous:(

    nice shot by the way

when you go hunting w bow, r u allowed to have a pistol or something w u as well?u know just in case???

    thanks

  • well done.i want to buy me one of those bows and i could not decide yet.yours seems it"s good enough.can enyone give me some details of that bow,and arrows as well please??thank you!

  • there are so many good hunting bows today! go to your local bowhunting/archery dealers store and they can set you up nicely for your budget. spend lots of time shooting from all angles. my setup, Mathews switchback xt, gold tip arrows, rage 3 blade mech broadheads.

  • nice bull. I m glad the second shot was better than the first. there are a lot of guys out there just wounding great animals.

  • Very nice bull, hope I get a chance like that this year. I'm leaving the luminox behind b/c they are illegal in CO.

  • i still think hunting is kinda mean, but i bet that elk makes great jerkey. if you kill an animal make sure you eat it, that is the way God intended it to be.

  • great video. Every one has a bad shot some time. NICE BULL!!!

  • poor elk

  • Hell, he wouldve missed anyways. The bull took off before the arrow got there. Mustve been a 50 yard shot or more

  • I guess it's a big chance of only wounding the game when using bow and arrow compared to rifles. Especially when shooting through fooliage.

  • not really especially since archers are usually much closer to their game and usually bow shot animals die faster.

  • completly true

  • there are more wounded and lost animals from rifle hunters, they take shots "hoping" they hit the animal from either too far or at angles they're not used to, its not nice and flat like the range.

  • haha ur funny

  • Nice video, good job.

  • Wtf was that first shot? Way out of range.

  • did u have a pass through? looked it in the vid...what broadhead do u use? thanks and nice work!

  • half of he arrow came out the other half stayed in him...It was a double lung shot and he ran 50 yards....Jeremie was shooting a shuttle t lock broad head it a bad dude. thanks

  • nice shot

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!

  • great vid

  • nice bull
