@cjellwood actually they prevent illegal activity. if there are bollard signs everywhere, slow down your car and look for them. if there is a retracted bollard in the ground in front of you, take an extra 2 seconds and step around it. cmon, we don' even use these where i live, and already i know how to avoid an accident with one.
