@adriansmithmusic hi, thanks! yes, the 101 sequencer, especially the auto portamento function surely has it's own sound. it's great, I really love it. The 'video at home' track is still somewhere in my MPC. when my new mixingdesk is ready, i'll try to do a real studio version of it. Still have the same synths around! cheers, Jimi

I bought the Ion since i left that comment as "djsmithy" my other channel.
But it will be a long time of learning synthesis properly before I come out with as nice a lead as the one in your track!

Hi, the voice boards have 052-314E written on them, they have the IR3109 filter ICs.

@elektrovolt I knew it was an IR3109 just by listening :)
It's sounds dirtier than the earlier JP-4s.
Also, I like how you used the portamateau. Not many people seemingly use it... it's a useful thing.
