  • hedwig85 Thanks for that information. I did locate Jake several months ago. He's amazing, but I really preferred hearing him play bluegrass. He had too much talent to limit himself, so he moved on to playing a variety of styles.

  • I been on the road to Cartwright's a few times myself....plenty of good bluegrass music when you get there too. Great to see this old clip of Bill, Jacob Henry and Louanne. Oregon can produce some good stuff, and this is a fine example.

  • I have a man crush on Jake

  • Your group is the best musisians I've ever heard , Banjo, Mandolin, and Bass.

Are you still together as a group. I love your gospel music.

  • Everyone agrees. That kid on the mandolin is super! So much darn talent. I wonder where he is today? I hope he's still playing the mando.

  • @Robin18us I see Jake is still playing his mandolin with lots of gigs here and around the world.. See his myspace page under jacobjolliff

  • God has blessed this young man immensly. Remember how God blessed Daniel and his 3 friends so much that when they were brought before the king they were 10 times better than everybody in the land, wisdom & talent.

  • Holy Smokes! That kid is AWESOME! Outstanding thanks!!

  • This kid reminds me of Jesse McReynolds. Very good band. I'm surprised they aren't more well known. Where can I buy an album???

  • well done, fantanstic

  • Unbelievable mandolin playing. I am stunned! Everyone else is great as well, but being a mandolin player myself, I had to specifically comment on these specific breaks. Thank you very much for uploading this clip.
