  • This looks like Kenna selling out. I don't appreciate it at all. Let's go back to Freetime.

  • The Neptunes brought me here.

Reading the comments, I feel I should be glad for it.

  • I thought it was pretty sick

  • Counterfeit Pharrell...

  • It's sad that the readers of "Blink" think of this song as representative of Kenna's music, when in actuality, this was Kenna's attempt at becoming more mainstream,in effect, his "New Coke". Thus, his entire output shouldn't be judged off this song alone. Try "Sun Red,Sky Blue","Hell Bent","Turn","Baptized in Blacklight" or his new single "Chains". Your opinion might change. Also, last time I checked a "rockstar" can have a myriad of looks. Freddie Mercury,Bono, and Steven Tyler look nothing alike.

  • freetime>say goodbye to love.. even if blink over rated kenna, the book still kicks ass

  • Yeah I read abouit him in Blink.interesting obersvation

  • i guess im a genius because this is awesome

  • People .... FRED DURST thought he was good .... FRED DURST ... Why would anyone assume his word is worth anything ... have you listened to Limp Bizkit ... Wait ... you read Blink and wanted to be a hipster .... shame shame ... Fred Durst, guys ... come on ... Go watch "Nookie" Music is something different to everyone ... Just find something you love and F what everyone else says

  • Clearly I'm not a musical genius, because I thought this song and Freetime both kind of sucked. Completely forgettable.

  • the video doesn't make sence with the song

  • how much Malcolm Gladwell is paid to endorse this guy? that's far from changing the music world....

  • terrible video

  • Eff love

  • heard about him through Malcolm Gladwell but dont think he is that good!! expected better honestly

  • @97hassanein that's his whole point, average people like you and me don't get the "brilliance" of his music...

  • Thins song is SO underrated

  • I feel like Pharrell wrote this song for himself, then just stuck Kenna vocals over it.

  • Blink

  • I keep singing this song in my head over and over again.

  • been listening to kenna since 1999, when all he had was a single, not even a label. it's sad to see how he's changed so much. i still love this album and new sacred cow but i've lost a lot of respect for kenna.

  • i like him. cause he has my name. XD

  • kenna doesnt want to be famous "if you like it keep it to yourself" his own words. he would rather have a cult following than be the song of the week.

  • sweet video

  • I want that new wave tshirt.

  • Thumbs up if Malcolm Gladwell brought you here

  • Neptuness :D

  • Comment removed

  • I Blink-ed here.

  • Blink says he looks like a rock star. He doesn't. He looks like a rapper, which is pretty much the opposite.

  • Hey HEY! ! ! The groove is siiick. . .

  • @Shamonafrica Video was meant to be very Hunter S. Thompson - Fear And Loathing In Los Angeles. The vision was that Kenna didn't fit in any world, yet he didn't look like he didn't fit, so it made you wonder who fit anywhere... the juxtaposition of that and the morphing that happens when people don't understand you is the symbolism surrounding the computer graphics and melting faces etc. Actually a very complex concept for a video and artist...directly related to the title of the album.

  • I just jizzed in my pants

  • @Dayknw TMI

  • Another "Blink" reader here!

  • Yea...this has Pharrell written all over it! I

  • wait wait wait.. WHY'S EVERYONE READING BLINK? im reading for ap eng lang comp class o.o

  • Blink.

He doesn't sound 'too out there/different' to me though..

  • @roryleighgilmore1 I find this particular song the most commercial of his whole material. It doesn't really represent his style in my opinion. You should listen to other songs, each is different )

  • BLINK

  • Reading Blink. In Russian ))

  • Reading blink right now...

  • Soooooo funny. All of us "Blink" geeks. I too searched him out because I am reading the book. Kenna's music is definitely different, A hip modern rock dance music. It reminds me a little of David Burn or the Talking Heads. I like it. he would do well to play as many live gigs as he can. Let's not forget that a band like the Police went unnoticed until they played a hundred college campuses and word spread.

  • BLINK,READING IT AS I TYPE LOL

  • blink

  • Yet another Blink reader in search of Who the Heck is Kenna?

  • BLINK! lolz

  • lol blink reader here also..

  • i just read blink too. i'm writing a paper on it so i thought i would check out kenna to see if my opinion changes when i simply listen, or when i listen and watch.

  • hahaha a blink reader too!!

  • Yap. Blink sent me here too.... lol

  • his style kinda reminds me of pharrel

  • @117602 Lol...This song was produced by the neptunes homie...Which IS Chad Hugo && Pharrell..xD

I wonder why it reminds you of pharrell? haha

  • Blink sent me here, now I will send you to a book called Blink, the power of thinking without thinking.

  • hahah i woulda have never heard of this guy if it wasnt for blink. Good tho

  • wHATS BLINK?

  • Também vim por citação no Blink.

  • Who's this Blink that everybody is talking about? I'm always the last person to be told about something so don't get angry.

  • @candygirlsaphire

Blink is a really interesting book by Malcolm Gladwell where Kenna is mentioned. it seems that plenty of us have been directed here because of the book.

  • @fzr1793 Not me, I found out about kenna watching the music video for "hellbent" on television many years ago

  • @fzr1793 yea its a good book, but being honest, although Kenna is obviously talented, and has his own distinct sound, I can see why he hasnt broken into the mainstream. The songs just dont have sufficient "hook". maybe its like the pepsi/coke argument in the book. he does well live, because he commands attention, and you are forced to listen when he is onstage, and can immerse yourself in the performance, but in the comfort of ones own home, its so easy to put on something "catchier".

  • @johnpcooke this song sucks
