DUHH! so many pessimistic idiots!! this game is basically just the same with the old nes, just that they added some moves like you can now jump on the ball plus you can give some items to characters. Honestly the sprites are more funny looking, and this one is more of a cuter side. But still this is hilarious they've added shuryuken and jumping knee attack plus ive seen my opponent carry his own team mate, i dont know yet how to do that but it was surprising and funny!

@ndsgamesru i think so too. Just downloaded this morning. It plays almost like its nes counterpart, but the jump button has been added, which is neat, but that's about it. Gameplay is identical, you get to choose which country/team to play against, and you must beat each team 3 times to move on to the final, just like the old game

@ighnaz bad gameplay, bad control, bad team management, terrible AI, ugly graphics. The 2-D sprites on the NES was much better. The only redeeming quality is the music, but it's because the music has some nostalgic values to me.

World Cup NES is def. much, much better---I was really disappointed----this game seems really, really slow---painfully and yeah---the zoom in goes way too close----basically, I hate I wasted my money.

yea so i played the game yesterday...not nearly as good as World Cup for NES....the camera is zoomed in wayyy too much, i dont like how you just control 1 player, and it should have nintendo wifi but it doesnt.....

You have to update the firmware, it works perfect. Best game ever My favourit game in GBZ it was called worldcup

original is better for me but this is very god and let remember old times, very good.
