Wasnt there awesome colors on everything on their planet the plants lit up when ever you got close and in this it just looks like some crappy island with some floatig rocks and no awesome trippy colors, i mean i never even seen a suit close to what teh guy in the beginning is wearing, and i never seen any weapons like the one that he has. Go look up the Bell X-22 and tell me that bungie has the right over the sole idea of a gunship with ducted fans.

Then look up the V-22, first flown in 1989.

Then look up the RAH-66 First flown in 1996.

These vehicle designs are based off of real world prototypes. While this is great because it makes the sci-fi seem more realistic, it does not show any creativity what-so ever.

Finally

i have to say it looks like a shity combination of call of duty, (the guns and armor design) gears of war (the body build of the humans all bulcky) and world of warcraft (the natives, and the attack styles plus graphix) and to top it off the natives look like demented retards with barbed sticks rammed up their ass all in all, they could have made it better and i'm dissapointed. as everyone else sais, compared to the movie... fuck haha

@Trudelgy are you serious about the call of duty part.... that has to be the stupidest comparison ever... think about what you said call of duty... but the GoW part I agree they were greatly influenced by that armor... and attack animations you're bringin in bad arguments, if anything (if you watch the actual gameplay trailer) the way it plays out is VERY similar to mass effect IF anything.

I am confused... are you saying that this game is similar to all those that Trudelgy just listed? And Unreal Engine = made by Epic Games. Ubisoft = Giant corporation that studios IE Epic Games pay to endorse their product and release it to the masses, but Ubisoft did start out making their own games (but usually contract other developers to make them) Ubisoft didn't create the Unreal Engine. Anywho just trying to clear a few things up

Ubi did not make Unreal, Epic did. Anyway, Ubisoft has had a history of not using their own engine and instead using the unreal engine to save time and money. Using the same engine, this game is going to look similar to other unreal games.

Avatar the game isn't using the Unreal engine though. It's using the Dunia engine which Ubisoft recently used for FarCry 2. I'ts a modified version of the old CryEngine.

i am addicted to this game. i play it non-stop without knowing i play 8 hours. The gameplay is kind of scary. Too many enemies jumping out from behind you. But its a great game. i finished it within 10 hours of gameplay. It's pretty long and fun. But the missions are different in each console. So it depends on which one you have. I have it for ps3
