@RomelioSanzz it's a pity that the hard times are already knocking english people's doors. Soon even 1435's pilots will be among in the unemployed line in london!
Awesome video! Its great to see the boys on patrol, keeping the Falklands free. I bet the people of Stanley absolutely love it when the Tornadoes (Typhoons Now) do a low level flyby....
I wonder what any visiting Argentinians think whenever they see that? :-)
@kdum8 are there really 4? i've been told that they only have two by someone who works on the eurofighter. i dont see why they would need more than two down there either.
@stephenpprice Well four were reported by the news and the MOD. I would be very surprised given un-serviciblity rates and general maintenance if there were less that that, but of course it is possible. Things are always changing.
I lived on the islands 90-91 although not in the forces. Just want to say thanks to everyone serving down there as probably not the best posting going! Great video too.
I know because my Dad made these videos when he was a pilot on 1435 Flt in the Falklands - i visited him there and went flying on the Chinhook and the Herc.
The best pilots in the world.

It's a pity that those little islands have better fighters than the whole Argentinian Air Force

I was on 1435 Flt in '97, my mate got a bollocking for Sellotaping Bondu (the cat) to one of the chairs in the "Q" crewroom. LOL
Lazy little shit.
Was the other cat called Snowy?

Why would someone tape a cat to a chair? For fun? Sounds fucked.

Nice video lads. Flight 1435 now consists of 4 Eurofighters as of September 2009 so even better kit to keep the not-so-friendlies away... ;)

@spostgate I've never heard this track, but most of the lines are references to many new testament doctrines as taught by Christ.
It is not subtle at all, there can be no question of it's message.
"Don't store any more treasure in this world"
"Store it up high in the sky"
It sounds a bit like R.E.M., but they're agnostic at best, so I doubt it's them.
Christian rock music is hated by so many people that it's hard to find info, you need to be clever to find it.
I'll try more & let u know
