I go with the side of balanced. Even though some characters overpower other, but makes up with chains, flexibility, and wide array of attacks. Some gives a powerful blow but is slow on delivering, some do attacks with unblockable damage or super long reach like DVJ's laser, Alisa fist rocket. This attacks have a long delivery and can be dodged quickly. Tekken is balanced in its own way.

@JuliuStorm I hope they don't. Bryan's taunt is mainly the reason why he is so competitive. I'm not a Bryan player, but just having the taunt creates nearly endless oki possibilities regardless if the taunt hits or not. If they were to take it out, Bryan would have little to no oki game.

On top of that, I believe taunt is +14 on hit. Bryan's options leading to knockdowns and juggles start at 12. In Tekken, even 2 frame links are difficult. Not to mention the even more difficult one frame links.

coz fishermans slam gives less damage than the moves (basically launchers like wr+1 or power hop kick) ur supposedly given.. fisherman's slam is slower too..

example, u blocked DVJ's hellsweep, fisherman's slam is guaranteed... but y wud you go for it if a WS+1 juggle gives you better damage?

together, Bryan would taunt and as soon he hits his knee to his opponent, you do fb2. It's need alot of practise to do it. Taunt ~ fb2 is very dangerous when not done properly. ..Also noticed that Knee does fake taunts to hit a lot when so he can punish his opponent easily with real one. ...

That's not a balanced fighting game. A balanced fighting game is where all of the characters are equal and fully balanced in every way. The only thing differentiating them should be their style. In other words, preferences to be prefered. It shouldnt be this character should be used to counter that one, or the other character should be used to counter this one.

@Hellbottom no it's not lol. I'm sorry but I KNOW balanced and non balanced games. I've played fighting games since the release of the original Street Fighter II. I've played every KoF, Guilty Gear, SF (even the remixes, remasters, supers, etc.), Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Mortal Kombat (which isn't taken as seriously as it should be).

This tekken has a new and defined battle system. It's understandable that it is unbalanced, allows for easy spams, and has various flaws/exploits to it.
