yes there were moments, where she was a little out of tune, listen to every live version Hendrix did and tell me he was in tune, he was always out of tune, as great as he was he played some bad notes and his guitar was out of tune. and I am sure she could do that on a strat also.this is coming from someone who isnt even a fan of orianthi

She does that well, it is worth listening (also if you only listen to it), though I agree she has to mature a little and improve somewhat in personality.
If I was forced to compare it to the Hendrix song, then the tone isn't what I'am most worried about, but the timing. Hendrix has that edgy timing that made him inimitable.

She does play well but, she does need a little work (doesnt everyone) specially on the stage presence. That would be challenging, she looks a bit smaller than Jimi.
I'd say Jimi's passion came from Viet Nam as well as from acid.

@tMattLZ Just a matter of taste. Covering doesn't mean that you try to be Hendrix. Quite impossible, I think, She plays something 'new' here, based on a very strong song. She does that well, it is worth listening (also if you only listen to it), though I agree she has to mature a little and improve somewhat in personality.
If I was forced to compare it to the Hendrix song, then the tone isn't what I'am most worried about, but the timing. Hendrix has that edgy timing that made him inimitable.
