@Firefoxx57 Sonic can only transform into Hyper sonic during Sonic 3 & Knuckles because the game revolves around Angel Island, which is home to the 7 super emeralds. They along with the master emerald are kept on Angel Island to maintain its' place in the sky. So it should go without saying that when Sonic is away from the island, his Hyper transformation is just not an option. Whereas he can turn super anywhere because the chaos emeralds arent so stationary...

This is pretty good. Most people take a Rock route when arranging Sonic Music, but with this particular song, it works. Mainly because it's repetetive, but still. It's the proper route. If you want another Sonic song remixed in something other than rock, look up 'theres a butterfli in the machine'. It's an arranged version of Scrap Brain Zone, and it also works. Now THAT's talent!

I will say that usually, I don't like much Doomsday Zone remixes, maybe because the original tune itself is a bit too dramatic for me, but for once, I think we got a good remix there. There's a decent beatline, a surprising sounding, but somehow, VERY fitting set of instruments; sounding far away and very close alike, exactly the feel of Doomsday Zone gives in the game. To be honest, it has a certain dimension of epic that could REALLY fit in-game. Congrats for this surprisingly good remix!

S3&K was the peak; I agree. This Project Needlemouse / Sonic 4 thing is going about it wrongly, I think. One of the supposedly great appeals is that Sonic is the only playable character, like the original game.

But how many people like the ORIGINAL game best? Back in the Genesis days, we WANTED to play as Tails and Knuckles. The problem is the the newer characters who stink, not the classic companions.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles (the game being played) saved lives/continues, plain Sonic 3 did not. I have 54 lives in one of my Sonic 3 & Knuckles save files, having 84 lives is definitely possible.

Hahah!! 84 LIVES!?? You must have "Cheated" like me, using an emulator, allowing one to save and reopen anytime. That was also the ONLY way I was able to get all of the emeralds.

All of you people who cant beat sonic 1-3 and knuckles without debug mode piss me off. I grew up on sonic with my older brother (im 15 btw) and im a master at these games. so is my brother. The final boss on sonic 2 (that no one can seem to be able to beat) i just hit in the stomach and when he lands i hit him again after he tries to crush me. Then i rinse and repeat. Thats all you need to do.
