I heard about his death. Pnumonia of all things! No cancer or anything. So I bought the juicer. So far it's great! I juiced some carrots, tomatoes, apples, oranges. I got an instant energy spike from all the vitamins. I didn't read the directions and put a bananna in there. Just made a mess. oops. RIP Jack.

@MrPinkBunny2 Yea, I guess your right....96 is a ripe old age I'm a little better than hanf-way there and being a working man,..I can't imagine what my body would feel like at 96. Based on how I feel now.....I'd probably be ready to move along myself! BUT, for younger folks...still, death from pneumonia is so unnecessary.
QUESTION: I bought the juicer an wanted to clean it cept when I use the little handle lock to pull out the blade it just keeps spinning, do I need to take the screws out or something??
@karan6 I had the same problem for a little while, and all you have to do is hold the outside part down with your hand (the one with the little holes) and then you spin the blade with the tool. Don't take out the screws!
Don't spend money on an expensive juicer and a ton of fruit. You'll gonna spend a ton of money on this juicer, a ton of money on fruits that'll just end up rotting in your fridge, plus you'll have all the mess to clean up afterwards!
Just go to juiceberg's channel...they will hook you with awesome juice! My family is crazy about it. And it's a cheaper option without all the hassle and waste!
i have this machine and its great! If you only like to drink the juice...most of the pulp (stuff thats also good for you) are filtered out....its great though....today we used:
oranges
fuji apples
cantaloupe
we are going to start using some veggies mixed in with some fruits....water melon, strawberries, mangoes, pineapples are great!
@jsimon8585 if you did say some ..carrots and cucumber then collected the pulp - easy salad ...celery pulp into savoury dishes ....etc. some folks dehydrate the pulp for biscuits and such, just experiment :)
@VonLeachim thanks, we will try to use pulp..it seems like lots of the pulp get collected, its such a waste to throw away. We tried spinach its great, then i tried red peppers.....it made me gag...never will put red peppers in the juicer again....its just bad tasting even with sweet apples and oranges...
@jsimon8585 hehe it is a waste and all that lovely fibre too specially the spinach -haven't juiced that yet[got a centrifugal]- tried cabbage leaves and that was one step too far for me --yuk
the spinach pulp would be great for making saag aloo. thanks for ideas. hmm peppers , no tried those yet either but have too now you said that. might go for the sweet pointy ones.
I found that my body lets me know what it needs , so I juice those- somehow my attention is drawn to certian veg- weird but tru

i like to put the plastic bags you get at the store in the pulp catcher. then when you are done juiceing, just lift out the bag and you have no clean-up.
what a piece of crap bought one about ten years ago.all it made was pulp, buy the Montel Williams jucing product it is amazing.

The plastic bag seems to work best for getting the pulp without having to clean the whole juicer.

Please tell me the company who is selling them. I can't seem to buy them on line in Australia so I have to ring up but I don't know who to call.
Thank you.

karan6 1 year ago
@karan6 Oh, you have to spin the blade in reverse so that it unscrews. Let me know if that helps. Oh, don't lose your little tool like I did.
