  • excellent footage .had you more than1 camera set up to catch this ?

  • @TheGoodvideoclips Thanks for the comment. Only 1 camera, a Sony VX2100. More footage inside the cave is available on a 78min documentary on the river Wharfe after its premier at the Grassington Festival.

  • It's a long tight scramble out if there is water pilling up behind you is it not!

  • I got trapped in this cave in 1992 by flooding and this really brings it home how lucky I was.

  • i went there on tuesday and managed to do hyperthermia passage and hydrophobia passage

  • thats briliant geoff....how long did you have to wait for the water to over flow?

  • Not long. It was pure luck really. We went up the previous day in hope that it was flowing, but of course it wasn't. The next day we were ther no more than an hour.

  • Exceptional!

  • Thanks for that

  • done sleets gill many times before, but never seen the water coming out of the entrance like that, especially all the way up the 80ft entrance ramp. fightening thought really.

  • You're righ it makes you think. I wouldn't want to be hurt and trying to race the water out.

  • too true mate. the connecting crawl from the master cave to the upper ramp is bad enough without thinking about it. Looking forward to the documentary. Happy caving.

  • not bad but needs more commentry

  • Thanks,

You're right and in the documentary it will have, plus footage from inside the cave.
