    Love from Australia. RIP.

  • SUPER WYKONANIE - CUDOWNY UTWÓR WRAZ Z KLIPEM,

MIŁEGO SPOKOJNEGO SŁONECZNEGO DNIA, POZDRAWIAM CIEPLUTKO WRAZ Z BUKIETEM CZERWONYCH RÓŻ DLA CIEBIE.

  • Very nice :)))

  • Ms Wynette is to Country Music what Barbra Streisand is to Broadway and Billie Holiday was to Jazz - A truly gifted artist who defined an art form... and can break your heart with a song. Thanks for the great post, pottsking.

  • the Queen of Country- met her years ago - a lovely woman

  • I play this song on vinyl all the time! I describe it as the perfect song -- a beautiful tune, some steel, some strings -- all sung by the greatest singer of all time, Tammy Wynette.

  • It is because people like Tammy/Kitty/Elvis that the USA is still on the map. Even though all. I wonder if ANY American ever read the Pravda? You have to read the story's of LISA KARPOVA. Better be careful. I think the woman is a bit crazy. But at times she is right.

  • i love all the song that tammy sang

  • pure gold,thank you.

  • How lucky was George,to wake up every morning with a woman like tammy, her voice is the best in country music.

  • What a beautiful song by a beautiful lady. You left this world far too soon Tammy but your legacy lives on!

  • Tammy has Always been my favorite singer, but I have never heard this song before. It is sooo beautiful!! I miss her so much. I just found out Georgette is singing, and she sounds Beautiful too !!!

  • What a voice! Love you Tammy, R.I.P.

  • A perfect performance in every way.

  • Tammy and a Steel Guitar. You can't get more country than that. Simply Beautiful.

  • my favorite tammy song and one of my all time favorites....whine baby whine!!

  • Billy Sherill sure knew how to produce Tammy..

  • This song bring's tears to my eyes. Tammy sang from the heart and I hope God is taking care of her, Bless you Tammy.

  • @kskk9368 I agree with you, I am 64 and tears come as I listen to this..oh so lovely RIP Tammy.

  • it`s a pity - this album is not available in germany

so thanks for posting -real good country

  • I think she looks prettier all covered up than most singers do showing everything. Such mystery.

  • @MikeinSanDiego No woman in country has that pleading note in her voice Tammy had down cold. and no wonder, with the life she had. She was always pleading to be loved, and never quite getting what she needed so badly.

  • @musicmandon1 You said it exactly right. She just was so wonderful. According to Loretta Lynn's bio, she never found true love. I hope that is not true. :( Such an amazing performer. Her voice can't be duplicated or mimicked.

  • @BekaGinHallHustlers ...I believe the men she truly loved some how got away...and all the pain comes through in her eyes and voice...and Tammy really was ready to die.....God bless her !

  • @musicmandon1 She was wonderfull, anyone know who played steel?

    Was it Weldon Myrick/

  • Tammy is one of the best country music singer forever that I've ever known in States. I absolutely love all her songs .

  • what a beautiful song from a legend

  • What beautiful songs you have shared with us. I loved Tammy since I saw her in person in PLattsburg N.Y. in 1987. She was at her best and I have loved all the hits and songs she ever recorded. Thank you again so much for sharing her amazing talent and the real Heart Country of pain that I share many of what she lived. I can concurr with her. Thank you so much. Keep it up we love her always.

  • This is one beautiful lady the world of country music is sure going to miss

  • Great song!

  • Real country music-thanks Captain!

  • Comment removed

  • Ich liebe sie !

  • My only criticism of this is the overproduction with the studio strings. A small bar band of three or four would be a lot better.

  • @Cadmium77 I.´Think so. Sometimes less means more

  • What a fantastic voice - sooooo missed

  • An underestimated voice

    JR

  • Lloyd Green played steel on this . thx .

  • @pwea1 Yes, it took me some digging but I'm satisfied it is Lloyd Green.

  • Lloyd Green played pedal steel guitar on this recording .... thx for the post .

  • @pwea1 what about stand by your man?

  • what a wounderful voice she had tru country

  • Came across this song about 3 months ago and have repeatedly listened to it. It must be one of Tammy's best songs so much feeling and sadness. I usually enjoy quite obscure C & W but this really does take some beating - Some of the postings on here are obviously written with feeling. Many thanks for posting - Pity I cannot find a download for this song

  • Something about this song, makes you want to play it all day.

  • sou brasileiro, mas sou muitíssimo apaixonado pela música country. ala toca á alma de qualquuer sujeito.

  • The steel is played by John Huey who made the "crying" style, famous.

  • great steel guitar work, any one know whos playing

  • She was absolutely the best!

  • Hi there no one can sing Steel Guitar like Tammy. She truly was one of a kind. I have loved her since I saw her in Plattsburg N.Y. in 1987. I have some things of hers and am happy I have them.. What a great loss her sudden death and the a** hole of a husband she had may he rot in hell! I love you Tammy always will. I listen to you daily. She had it the voice, the body and the stage presence larger than life.

  • Hi there no one can sing Steel Guitar like Tammy. She truly was one of a kind. I have loved her since I saw her in Plattsburg N.Y. in 1987. I have some memorabilia of hers and am hanging on to them for dear life. What a great loss her sudden death and the a** hole of a husband she had may he rot in hell! I love you Tammy always will.

  • Such a great song and such a great singer, awesome. Thanks for posting it.

  • What we do without you Brian. Thanks so much for all of Tammy's music you upload.

  • So called Pop country singers today could learn a thing or two from listening to some of the older country music, With that said, there's still not a singer alive today that could live long enough to fill Tammy Wynettes shoes. Long live the Queen of Country...

  • I've been listening to Tammy since I was a kid (I"m 57 years old) and have never heard this one. I love it too. Tammy is/was the very best! RIP Tammy,.

  • OMG such a beautiful song, I can relate so much to this... Tammy knew how to put her whole soul into her singing.

  • I'm a huge tammy wynette fan and am only 18 years old. I just love the way she sings and I have to she is far better than any new country artist out there today.Today's new country is stupid and has no real meaning. RIP Tammy, sorry your life was cut short.

  • Tammy puts heart and soul into country music, it brings tears to my eyes when i hear her sing

  • i have always been a fan of country music and listened to many artists,I was told recently to listen to more of tammys music by an old friend, I can not listen to any one else now that I have heard tammy, I find myself compareing other country singers to her, but no one can come close a true legend.

  • Back when country was country.

  • No offence to anyone who likes her, but you can keep the likes of Shania Twain, THIS is TRUE country!

  • I too wish she were still here its such a tragic loss to the country world she truly was and still is the Queen of country. A beautiful Lady.

  • my favorite tammy song....gives me the shivers everytime i hear it

  • this lady is the true Queen of country the most beautiful and emotional voice I have ever heard.I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert in Australia. The best live show I have ever seen and been to .I am a true Tammy fan and have all her recordings .Gone but never forgotten

  • beautiful voice

  • OMG I love her hair!

  • Tammy is my one of the favorit country singer with beautiful voice and performance! She is GREAT!!!!

  • Never heard this one. It's great. She's one of a kind. Love the sound of that steel also.

  • She will never be forgotten

  • Thanks for this file - it was new to me.

  • true classic!!

  • This was/is one of my favorites by Tammy.

  • The Great Lloyd Green playing steel guitar on this cool song by Tammy.

  • When she died a voice was silenced that can never be replaced. a voice that was that was so special that milllions of people across the world fell in love with not only it but with her. I was lucky enough to be able to call her my friend and when she died I lost a peice of my self with her.

  • Not only one of the greatest voices in the world but a wonderful friend that I have lost.

she was of the few who was excatly what she seemed like, real , wonderful, funny, kind and will be deeply missed. There is a void in my heart that was left when she left this world and that beartifuyl voice was silenced.

  • goosebumps...

  • nice good music.. though i am a country music lover..

  • Who have a guitar cords to this song?

    Please,please

    Marius

  • 3.01 minutes of pure heaven!

  • @margusify Yepp!!

  • I've no doubt God gave her singing talent before she was even born for a special reason known only to him. I love you so Tammy!!!

  • The power, grace and sincerity is unmatched by any female country singer!

  • For sure she's singing in heaven with God's other angels. She's OK where she is and we must accept we couldn't have her forever.

    I love you Tammy!!!

  • Never could or would I forget you Tammy. I so love you still after all the years gone by.

  • I had the privilege to be looked at by her. Somewhere outside Wembley in '89. Her only security was Boxcar Willie. I wanted to ask and tell her a lot. So I said nothing. What she thougt while she looked at me will never be known thank God.

Mostly singers avoid steel guitars. Tammy never sang false. Not a note. I even think she could not do that.

  • I so wish all could have met her as I had the privledge of doing. She was so humble and friendly towards all. At the time she was about 36 years of age and indeed very beautiful. I love you still Tammy, after all the years gone by.

  • " The Queen "

  • Awesome.

  • She live in our heart for ever . will see you in heaven .

  • Her talents certainly were given by God himself, indeed, not many have approached her abilities.

As someone posted she was humble to all her fans. She played her role so well as a big star and was so easy to love.

I'll see you again someday in heaven and once more listen to you perform. God graced me once with your presence in my life - I could never forget you.

I love you Tammy - after all these years.

  • @Phil60289 Very Well Said Phil, I only wish I could have met her. Thanks for sharing your experience with one of life's treasures TW.

  • This is real music, so tender and so fine...

  • She was so very good back in the old days - if she were still alive she would be just as good. She went from nobody to the First Lady of Country Music. I love you still Tammy.

God needed a singing angel so he took her home to sing with all the other angels.

  • The photo above shows her facial beauty and if one looks close her inner beauty can be seen. Next month I will visit her burial site in hopes of letting go of her inside of myself. I love you Tammy.

  • This is my favorite song by Tammy, I was honored to have a small conversation with her in 1974. She was very nice to me and indeed beautiful in many ways. Gosh, how I miss her.

  • I love you Tammy

  • another wonderfull song of the that will never go away perfect voice a song is not a song without a steelguitar and a fiddle

  • lovely

  • ...Tammy injected all the pain she felt in this one...she was so complex...!

  • cool

  • This song is amazing. i think one of tammy's best. I can't find it on any collections. Anybody know where to find it?

  • Better than the best!

  • We are ALL racist............

  • I like her too along with george!!

  • There is NO music that comes close to this in this day and age. Like so many other things this was an end of an era!

  • Why r all Elvis fans racist?

  • @Christiannomore Is there a hidden message in this comment?

  • @oldcajun73 Is there a hidden brain in your head?

  • @Christiannomore - Why do you say this ? There are some African - Americans who believe that Elvis was a racist, but that's not true at all, either.

  • @Christiannomore - Why do say this? There are African-Americans who say that Elvis was a racist, but that's not true, either

  • @unclebillmusic if u r not racist then agree to have sex with me. Wait a minute ru a woman?

  • @Christiannomore,are you trying to say to people - "I might like you better if we slept together,I might like you better if we slept together,I might like you better if we slept together, but there;s something in your eyes that say maybe, that'a never, never say never. GO WATCH THAT VIDEO AND HAVE FUN WITH YOURSELF !!! YOU SOUND LIKE A RACIST WHO HATES RACIST BECAUSE YOU CAN'Y BE THE HEAD RACIST - BUT YOU COULD BE THE RACIST THATGIVES THE HEAD !!! DON'T TALK IN RIDDLES, JUST STATE YOUR FACTS

  • @unclebillmusic what you say is true but there's always room for jello. Ur a guy anyway. So hook me up with your sister. Tell her to wear those red thigh high boots that I like.

  • Tammy once came to my to to do

a concert i didn't go to the concert

but i saw when she arrived into town

and i waved hello to her driver and

he waved back then went to make

a turn onto the next street i manage

to get a look inside and i got to get

a glimps of tammy wynette nelstar5

  • Great work, as always, by Tammy. If you've got the song, "Another Lonely Song", from that same album, can you please post it? Thanks if you can.

  • One of Tammy's finest, R.I.P Tammy

  • Love Tammy so much. What a talent and so beautiful. Miss Tammy and her true country music .Will never get enough of this perfect performer. Thanks

  • Was that Little Roy Wiggins on the steel guitar?

  • @HowardWiggins3 I believe it is Pete Drake. He played on most of Tammy's sessions, except DIVORCE...that was Lloyd Green.

  • tammy's voice was alot like a crying steel guitar.. She got more raw emotion out of her voice than just about anybody

  • @61Elmo 100% agree. :-)

  • fantastic song

    greetings from Germany

  • is this song or album released on cd...or is this song on any other cd

  • Fantastic Lady. Put the move on her and she responded with the George Jones move. LOL. Nashville will teach you lessons. i Sure learned mine.

  • love this song. Do you have "the phone call" another old song of Tammy's. Would love to see it on the tube!

  • Lets not forget Norman Hamlet mastered this style.

Damn Characture limit, god google is getting on my last nerve with this site.

  • This sound alot like the steel player with Jerry Lee Lewis and similar to the older recordings of Tony Booth, These guys had a way of being heard but NEVER getting in the way with that infamous "Rickety Tickety Bish BOOM BAM!!

That too many show-offs end up doing.

Youtube search the older country Jerry Lee Lewis and search for Backrow, Another Place,

All night long, this Steel guitar on Tammy's recording has the same attitude, TASTE comes before ATTENTION!!! I love that sound SWEET.

  • Does anybody know who plays steel on this song??Chime in you forumites!!!

  • ANOTHER LONELY SONG

    Epic KE-32745

    February/1974

    Produced by Billy Sherrill

    Recorded:

    1974, Columbia Studio, Nashville

    CRYING STEEL GUITAR

(Billy Sherrill - Carmol Taylor - Agnes Wilson) « © '74 Algee Music, BMI / Songs Of Universal, BMI »

  • Pete Drake, he did almost every on of the Epic sessions except Kids Say The Darndest Things Pete Drake, Lloyd Green Epic 31937

    and a few others

  • This is an absolute gem, true country. The garbage mass produced in Nashville for the last 10 years all sounds the same. Artists like Tammy, George, Conway, Strait are still the benchmark for style and creativity.

  • @analyzer525 I agree with you 100%. This is REAL Country music and what they lack in Nashville today! NOTHING like Tammy on this song can compare! I could just cry listening to music like this! :)

  • Grande dame de la country

  • my hero!

  • this is a good song

  • If I was ever abducted to another planet and they said, ' Is this familiar? Is this your planet?' and they were playing Tammy Wynette. I'd know in an instant I was home. THATS how much she sounds like home to me. Nobody on earth had a voice like hers and never will.

  • She has one of the finest voices in country of all time! I wish she was still here, I love her

  • I commented on this earlier, the more I listen, I realize how incredible this is.

  • New country is absolute Garbage. This is what we need more of! Tammy's beautiful voice is a great remedy for a tough day.

  • Good Oldie Memories

    Thank You Tammy...RIP

  • We miss u Tammy

  • Why couldn't i grow up listening to this? I'm 18 and Tammy Wynette is one of my heroes, I love and miss her, she was a beautiful lady, no one can ever replace her, she lived her songs, sang her songs with passion, she truly is the queen of country

  • ...i bought this album in 1974...some great songs here...!

  • Oh, God how I miss her !!!

  • Magnificent. 5 *****

  • Lovely, never heard that before

  • Just love her voice! Great Entertainer, one of the best!

  • What a beautiful voice she had. I used to listen to this song 35 years ago. My mom had a big old magnavox stereo, and I would hear music like this on Sunday afternoons. God, I miss those days.

  • speechless... XXX

  • Wonderful voice. Beautiful Tammy

  • Truly wonderful and missed dearly. Rose-Marie( an Irish gal) has that special sound also, God Bless

  • got any links to Rose-Marie - the Irish Gal?

  • Absolutely fantasic!!!!

  • this lady lived her songs. a talenl like this is a once in a lifetme. what a sad loss to music. thanks for keeping tammy alive.

  • ...her voice is so cool, how i love to hear her songs in my lonesome...

  • Let's bring back this talent and sound, WOW!

  • Tammy, Patsy, Loretta, and Dolly.... all one of a kind. Everyone else today is just a wannabe.

  • My goodness, this lady could sing.

  • I grew up with this music. George Jones lived 20 miles from my house.... Nothing like old country music

  • Ein Lied, das ich bislang noch nicht gehört habe. Mir gefällts - wie fast alles was Tammy gesungen hat.

  • Loved this song..my mom played the entire album on our hi fi for days..could you post 'Another Lonely Song'? It is probably my favorite Tammy song..

  • It is amazing how profoundly entertainers back when had an affect on the everyday man/woman.

  • I Love this song. It's one of Favorites. Thanks so much

  • She is amazing on this song wand really shows how to sing an emotion or two.

Now to shake yourself out of this, go watch tammy and george sing World Needs a Melody.

From toe-tapping happiness to cryin-outloud misery. Brilliant and unrivaled as the eternal First Lady of country music.

    God bless you, Tammy.

  • a beautiful song by a beautiful lady

  • This brings back so many memories of sunday afternoons when my mom would put a stack of country LP's on the monster magnavox console stereo, and it would be an all afternoon treat of David Houston, Jack Greene, Ferlin Husky, Jim Reeves. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

  • This is how country music should sound instead of that crap they play now on radio stations for it is just disgusting how songwriters and record producers have all but destroyed the true sound of

    country music.

  • i dont think Country Music would be what it is without the Pedal Steel Guuitar, im trying to lean to play it,,, Mac
